Same..only one or two notification will pop up but when I launch WhatsApp there will be a few unread chats..notifications not showing up well

Like ciwi1166 said..most likely an update coming soon when a lot of ppl encounter it

Likewise..just updated to the latest version of whatsapp..hopefully that will iron out the notification problem..so far so good with the new update for me
