Getting iPhone 7 is damn worth now especially from Celcom. It has dropped RM300 off the device price from when I got it and that was only 2 months ago.

Telco deals for iPhone gets cheaper in the long run. So if want to get an iPhone 7 on a contract go ahead.
But to get it from Apple premium reseller or Apple store is not worth it. Not now and should just wait until the new phone is launched here. |

QUOTE(goaldigger @ Aug 22 2017, 11:06 AM) Guys, I'm planning to get an iPhone7+ 128GB. Can you guys recommend which plan would be a better choice? Cause I'm not familiar with most of the mobile service providers. If you want reliable speeds and widest coverage, Celcom is the way to go. Check out their first gold plus plan. It is simply irresistible. If your prepaid usage is at least RM50 signed up on a plane. Better bang for the buck than buying outright especially now.If ur monthly telco usage is ~RM30. Just buy outright. |

Then what happens next? Huawei and Samsung will lose their + as well. Pathetic. Seriously pathetic.

QUOTE(jenniferjen @ Sep 26 2017, 12:18 PM) Not really. Mine is iPhone 7. It is a Celcom set so it comes with rebates and a free 2 years installment. The price of 7+ is almost negligible but I opt for 7. Just love the size. Also it is full one hand operation. |

QUOTE(williams2011 @ Oct 4 2017, 11:49 AM) Yeah, battery drains faster on my side too. Plus now we have to go to setting to turn off both wifi and bluetooth. Otherwise it remains on. Initially I was a little confused on how my Macbook pro can see my phone personal hotspot while it is clearly turned off.Still despite turning it off my battery still continue to drains as fast. |

Just updated to 11.0.2. Hope it solves the battery problem. But they did not solve the control center for their wifi and bluetooth still. Sad.

QUOTE(jumpstat @ Aug 27 2018, 04:05 PM) Well, by that time, my unit would be like 22months old. Obviously, there would be some degradation of the lipo battery within and it should be changed, RM129 is a steal as the normal original battery is like RM429 or somewhere in that region. As is at 20 months, my battery is at 86% although quite high but still the age that is of concern. One thing good about the ip7/7+ is that this iphone version is still capable to last me for the next 2 to 3 years until an upgrade is required. So the battery change is recommended. Do they allow to change at 86%? What is the min battery health? |
