QUOTE(attw @ Jul 17 2017, 11:23 PM) To be honest most Android users jumping to iPhone for the first time will either love it or hate it. What's important to you? Customization or Optimization? Rules or no rules? How important is it for you to be able to quickly transfer files/photos/music? Is gaming a factor for consideration? i'm not gamers, seldom watch movies using smartphone...just passionate about photography. so, my focus only on camera. that is why i am comparing P10 with....ip7?Also, there's quite a gap between the price for a P10 vs iPhone 7 so it's hard to recommend the 7 to a new user unless you are bored with Android and feel adventurous for a change. I would say if you really choose to go for an iPhone, then don't buy new since the refresh cycle is a couple of months away. Maybe get a used one, that way if you don't like it and have to let it go you won't lose too much. |

QUOTE(kiddokitt @ Jul 18 2017, 12:04 AM) I only just hopped onto the Apple bandwagon in late March this year. And already I own the 7+, Watch, iMac and soon, the iPad Pro. i am digi user...just pay 1470 for the device for 24mths contract...138 per month. good deal? And I was an Apple hater previously. Only used Android and Symbian products. I hated those smug Apple users and could never understood why they would splash so much money on a phone when an Android device could do the same things and probably, more. But insofar as Android was concerned, I've always hated its lagginess. Yes, brand new was not a problem. Fast and smooth. But inevitably, lag crept in for no darn reason even when it was not even a year old. And one day in late March this year, I got so fed up of Android, I just went to Digi online and bought an iPhone. Have not regretted it since. So, in your case, just go get an iPhone. Forget the P10. |

QUOTE(kiddokitt @ Jul 20 2017, 09:13 PM) Hahaha.. Not yet. Still thinking. I never bought smartphone more than 1k before this. Just bought budget smartphone like Xiaomi, Asus & now using meizu. But all max lifespan is around 2yrs. Now my meizu almost reach that lifespan and the battery is giving me problems. And my habit is to charge when I go to sleep and unplug when I woke up.... Lol! Just want to know who is doing like that also... |

QUOTE(jumpstat @ Jul 20 2017, 11:09 PM) I used to do this during ip4, ip6+ days. But nowadays I try not to unless its absolutely necessary. Once in awhile should be ok. They do have circuitry for overheating etc etc. 2hr to fully charge?FYI, for my iphone i use the ipad charger rather than the one that comes with the phones as it is significantly faster. |
