If battery life is your concern, go for 7 Plus. Im using 7 plus as my daily driver due to its excellent battery life. Full charge 100% at 11pm then wake up at 6am still 100% with wifi & 4G on.

Poor network coverage could be a cause as well as battery degradation.

I meant your telco network coverage.   Anyway Id do a soft reset and forget about it if I were you.

Been using ip7 plus for about 2 weeks now, definitely a huge upgrade from my previous ip6, loving the larger display and battery life. Currently using Ringke Onyx case + patchworks tempered glass for my ip7 plus. For the camera lens at the back, is it prone for scratches?

usually if a camera have dust, from your photo you may notice the dot appear in same location

but iPhone 7 is IP67, dust proof how come have dust go in, maybe before seal? 

Just look at your camera lens whether there is dust or not. If the dust goes inside the sensor then your photo will have black spots like my iPhone 5s 😅
