Maxis 128 plan for iPhone 7 now RM1990, is it worth buying now or will it drop lower? Any thoughts?

It's a lot for someone who doesnt prioritise handphone purchases!

I thought about what i actually used my old iphone 6s for... fb, work email, whatsapp, line, web browsing, office apps, GPS, some light music listening and thats about it..  i dont think the bionic chip is going to improve my user experience substantially.  Cant wait 1 month for release to pay more for the same thing while i use my rm600 4 year old Nokia-its too painful lol!

Im probably going for the 32gb 7... but will be pissed off if they change their base unit to 64gb in the mean time

Ya, I was sold on Apple Watch as well but so sad to see that Series 2 has been discontinued with immediate effect and Series 3 is still not available here yet, and no news on when it will be available. Was hoping Series 2 will get a price cut

Yup, iOS bugs usually get fixes from Apple in a timely manner. But i think the demo wasn't a bug, more like poor preparation, hahaha...

man i bought the 128gb christmas last year . now its cheaper 

I actually lost my iPhone 6s last week and luckily I decided to wait for the new phone announcements in the hopes of getting a replacement for a cheaper price.

So now with the price drop to RM2749/3249 i'm thinking of getting a normal sized 7..

Couple of questions for the sifus here - I thought they were increasing storage for the base model to 64gb was there any announcement on that? For anyone using 32gb, how much is there actually available for photos, apps etc - is it enough, have you ever regretted buying the lower memory?

TBH the 6S has also dropped its price to RM2249/2749 and I was happy with my old phone until I lost it.  Was it ever worth the upgrade to the 7 in your opinion?

I'm not hunting for the 8 as I need a new phone now (4 year old nokia is not going to cut it) and I don't feel like I need to upgrade every time they release a new phone...

Yea. Judging how that the first live demo of Face ID failed, they will definitely fix the issue asap.

The demo failed not because Face ID didn't work but rather that the guy prepping the devices didn't set it up properly. For example, whenever you reset your phone or haven't logged into your phone with Touch ID for a period of time, the phone will automatically revert back to a passcode. This usually happens more when the phone was restarted. This happened during the keynote

Yup, big possibility is the demo phone was either restarted or left idle for too long. Need to reauthenticate the passcode before using biometrics.

Hi guys im android fan but i just bought ip7+ due to discounted price yesterday....right now what is the best ios ver to settle.... i plan after updating to the best ios ver im gonna stop update the device forever....cuz last time when i update my ip5 to latest ios ver at that time my ip5 become sluggish and slow...so i dont want that to ahooen again with my 7+...my priority is battery life cuz....im gonna use this phone side by side with my trustee android device...
