Yes bro, promotion until end of 2018.

To be very sure of it, please call the AASP in advance to confirm the availability for your iPhone model  thumbup.gif

is it wise to replace the batt if your phone is only 1yo+ without issues yet ?

it is wise. you're already utilizing the battery for 1y+ so with the replacement, you get an additional 2+ years battery life.
some more rm129 is quite a bargain, considering it is a genuine battery replacement.
if you change to a a gred battery usually it already costs rm99-rm109 so for me, i would replace it.

Yes as battery deteriorates with usage time. So even if it doesn't show any issue yet after almost 2 years of usage, it will gradually show its age in Year 3 onwards, and eventually become "pregnant".
Yup, not to forget about the phone will maintain its IP67 water resistance rating too when it is replaced by AASP  icon_rolleyes.gif
I am skeptical that if the replacement is done by any unauthorized third party service provider, it is hard to say that the phone is still IP67 certified.  hmm.gif

if it’s ip7+ also a good idea to get the batt replaced ?

I am using iphone 7+ also and i plan to change it by End of November this year. It is up to you, if you plan to get the rumour iPhone X Plus, then i do not see a point why should you change the battery of your iphone 7+  icon_rolleyes.gif  brows.gif
Yes, mark your calendar to exchange it before the end of this year to enjoy promotional rate  thumbup.gif

BTW, you can use the app "battery life" to check on your battery wear level. Alternatively, iOS 11.3 will soon roll out the feature for user to check for their battery health smile.gif

i am using the battery life app to check...currently at 93%

My phone is only 9 months old but im already sitting at 92% battery wear.. probably because I charge my phone way too often.  sad.gif Just wondering, where is the AASP center to get my battery change?  and what is the healthy way to charge my battery? I always plug in when I have the chance.. I just can't stand low battery.
*
i read somewhere that charging constantly is good for batt life actually...but not letting it charge further if already 100%

Haha. I was thinking the same about replacing the battery.
If iPhone X2 is better then might just upgrade.  rclxm9.gif

Well, great minds think alike.  cool2.gif

i have other commitments and priorities..

so replacing new batt for rm129 is more logical to me

Price varies from dealer to dealer. You need to ask around. I for one would go and settle the issue early. Reason being the broken shards may effect the lcd too. Expect to spend around >Rm500 for an original at an apple store and around RM300 for a non-ori. Also you could also get used original parts at 3rd party dealers.

i checked at apple reseller...he quoted rm900 for original screen replacement
