Yes as battery deteriorates with usage time. So even if it doesn't show any issue yet after almost 2 years of usage, it will gradually show its age in Year 3 onwards, and eventually become "pregnant".

I am skeptical that if the replacement is done by any unauthorized third party service provider, it is hard to say that the phone is still IP67 certified. 

I am using iphone 7+ also and i plan to change it by End of November this year. It is up to you, if you plan to get the rumour iPhone X Plus, then i do not see a point why should you change the battery of your iphone 7+

My phone is only 9 months old but im already sitting at 92% battery wear.. probably because I charge my phone way too often.  Just wondering, where is the AASP center to get my battery change?  :confused: and what is the healthy way to charge my battery? I always plug in when I have the chance.. I just can't stand low battery.

Price varies from dealer to dealer. You need to ask around. I for one would go and settle the issue early. Reason being the broken shards may effect the lcd too. Expect to spend around >Rm500 for an original at an apple store and around RM300 for a non-ori. Also you could also get used original parts at 3rd party dealers.
