As long as the phone has never been repaired by a third party before then yes, it’s eligible.

those who get iphone 7 at 2GB ram vs 7 plus at 3GB ram. does it show any difference at this time after two years?

Hi,

iPhone 7, 32GB users here.
Happy with this as I am not a gamer and like the smaller screen size. Battery life is the draw back.
Anyone using battery case for iPhone 7, would like to hear your hands on review.

Thanks.

smaller phone drawback. not only that actually the extra paid to 7 plus is more worth it.
1) better camera - telephoto lens
2) better ppi and resolution
3) 3GB vs 2GB
4) much better battery life

If you do it at the authorized service centre, it will cost about RM4xx, but there is still the possibility that they might not accept your unit due to it being repaired outside previously as they do not want to bear the responsibility should anything go wrong. If that happens might as well get it changed at a third party instead.

After updates to latest iOS phone seems to keep restarting on the network. Keep on no service then the network resume again.

Anyone facing such problem? Any advice?

Clear the handphone cache by. and/or update all apps if available.

1) Switch off and on again.
2) Soft reset. Procedure depending on iphone model. Google it.
3) Full backup with iTunes (Use password).
4) Full reset as a new phone.
5) reinstall back using iTunes, download latest versions of apps.

Good luck ..

I would recommend you to replace it at an Apple Servirce centre. They will also reinstate the phone water resistant rating.

The problem with 3rd party battery replacement, they may not reinstate the water resistant rating after changing the battery. Besides the cost is already very attractive.

I did notice that on iOS 12 the battery drain seems more obvious than before. Then again, perhaps for Apple product, once the battery is below 90% battery health, it will show tremendous difference in battery standby.

Don't want to try battery replacement offer that is ongoing until year end? Still a nice phone considering how outrageous big brand phones are going now.
