Yes I do mine when it is convienient for me. Its a good habit as by doing so, will clear up all the cache and temp files accumulating in the phone. Booting up times also very much improves. For me roughly 3 times in a week I do this.

why so frequent? I remember when I used iphone6plus, almost no reboot done unless there is an IOS update or format of the phone...

called digi but he said must walk in, huhu thanks
*
Dont call digi directly, they do not have actual information on stock.

Call the branches nearby you or the one you wish to approach. Then you should have a brief idea whether there is ready stock or not.

It is such a wasting time to drive to one shop to another shop just to find out the stock availability.

What to do, i am an iPhone lover. rclxm9.gif

However, the recent announcement of iPhoneX price is too unreasonable.

I believe, apple is going to develop a gap between high end phone (Lexus) and mid end phone (Toyota) users.

As a sound mind user, we should able to differentiate if the item is worth the value. Too much of apple fan chase after the product without rational justification, which i should give a clap to apple on their successful marketing strategies.

Anyhow, I will shift away if the price of iphone keep increasing.

Hopefully there will still be reasonably priced flagship iPhone. If Apple sees that they can still maintain sales performance while raising the price, you can probably guess where this is heading to.
*
I believe the price of iphone wont drop especially flagship model. Just look at how iPhoneX shoot up the share price to 1 trillion dollar. They tasted the high profit trend and has been justified by the people in the world. bye.gif

Let’s see if the program gets offered here, §29 will be like RM130, which is good for battery replacement.

The price you calculated yet to include profit margin of Malaysia authorized dealer

29 usd -> 120 MYR
as usual resellers will hike up 30% so that's already 150+ and with gst it should come up to 170-180...  sad.gif  still better than 450 now to replace new battery..

agree! I willing to exchange my battery with this is the price

*
Honestly, I doubt on this. Are they selling original accessories? I meant cable, charger, earphone and etc

apple store goes without saying, but even the apple authorized resellers like mac city/ mac studio/ epicenter/ switch sells all original accessories... cables chargers earphone are all original... they don't even carry brandless casings.... what makes u think they are not selling genuine accessories bro?  biggrin.gif
*
Glad to hear that. the thought just came into mind in sudden without deeper analyze, so i doubt on it as everywhere can find the "same" products with "verbal" original mark.

Yes I’ve replaced battery under the Apple battery replacement program. It was done in a few hours. Replaced it for RM129 before the 0% GST

How did you survive within that few hours?

With the original battery at RM120 why bother going 3rd party?  I’ve changed battery before at 3rd party for iPhone 5 and 5S.

However with the iPhone 7 being water resistant, it’s best to get it changed at Apple Authorised Dealer to maintain the water resistant rating after the battery change.

3rd party will just open and change the battery and will not bother to  reinstate the water resistant rating.

If you are using iPhone 6 where it’s not water resistant then maybe you can change at 3rd party.

I was told from the Apple Service Provider that Changing battery is about an hour. The testing takes 2 - 3 hours
*
Thanks for sharing this, I never aware of the water resistance issue after changing the battery. I will proceed to Apple service centre then.
