Woah.. Have fun playing with 1k latency.. Tried, sucks..
It's cool if u have a laptop in the middle of nowhere and then use 3G just to check the AH or say hey at the guild.. But 3G is rather slow compared to DSL/Cable connections. |

although kuching is a city, it's still relatively in the middle of nowhere.
where did u try it? in KL/Selangor area? |

Yup.. Shah Alam.. Yea u have to make sure your area has 3G connection.. If not, u can't connect to anythng..

what's the max transfer rate for 3G anyways? afaik, wow shouldn't take that much bandwidth (abt 3mb an hour pve). might be a routing issue like streamyx. >.>

my thoughts too myuu . that's why was checking out if anyone tried it.
if WiMax ever comes up, was thinking of switching from broadband to that. there's another gateway out but sadly, all backbones are still tmnet. |

I play WoW on 3G. While it is not great, the ping never goes above 1000. It is usually constant 600-900. The only thing I dislike about it is, it can get disconnected easily sometimes.
I can do raid in 25man,10man,5man and PvP. The streamyx(not paid by me) in the house usually average over 1k. |
