Im wondering , how are grab and uber making money since they are giving promo every weeK

they invest the money to heat up the market to use their apps..

uber was lose money every year now.. but grab car im not sure.

Making high price surge more than the free amount.
create demand.

higher demand of passenger request = higher surge high fare.

of course they calculated everything beforehand. it is very profitable that's why they keep on continuing the promo again and again.

so in other words they will keep giving promo after that?
