I’m considering between a Vios facelift (E spec) or a X50 (Executive spec).

What I can see after test drive is, the Vios is a very “normal” car. The X50 has a wow factor.

But Vios RM5k cheaper, can get in 1 month, is reliable, comes with tint.

X50 best selling point for me is that I feel it is different to drive and has style.

What should I go with?

I just got my car last week and I can hit 12.6km per litre. Trying to hit 13km though. I am going to pump my second fuel soon. Hehe.. my car also below 1000km

How to use grit guard:

pros: very good NVH for its class, drives easy with soft suspension. Good FC. Toyota service is top-notch (maybe according to area and SC)

cons: mostly small stuff - annoying BSM cannot be turned off individually, some users (including me) gets weird sound when crossing bumps (SC unable to fix), less power than competitors

D gear step on brake component spoil faster instead.

Anyone experienced rattling sound on the front right, like squeaking when go over uneven roads?

Just trade in my old 2018 Vios TRD Sportivo and get new Vios G. Yesterday only get my new Vios.

The first thing on this new car i dun like.
1) Auto light on. Even set to lowest sensitivity. Really hate this can't off.
2) All door need to slam to shut properly.[COLOR=red]mine just normal
3) Auto aircond gloss panel is finger print magnet.
4) Hard plastic in the internal door easy can scratch.

The thing i like
1)Air cond is more cooler than my previous vios.[COLOR=red]but more than 3 level can hear blower noise
2)Gear shifting is more smoother[COLOR=red]cvt of course smother
3)Ramp the rpm high the sound from engine and gear are much quieter
4)paddle shift  [COLOR=red]not using it , kl road traffic is not convenience to use it
5)The seat leather is more comfortable n soft than my TRD sportivo leather seat.

I suggest wait for 2023 car if got no sst extension this year..
Then u can decide if u wana get new car or not (recession coming, opr increase expected, etc)

Does the new vios affected by the recent daihatsu case? Need to wait till they solve the defect then only will get the car?
