My NSP151 has this "sewing" kind of noise (sound like "krok" "krok") on accelerating around 10-50 km/h. After sending to SC, found out that CVT fluid need to be replaced. After the replacement, the "sewing" noise getting lesser. But it is still often come out especially when I drive after warming up the car. Anyone have any idea which SC or workshop can fix this issue?

My suspicion is on Transmission

I don't know whether it's placebo effect, but I feel it's better than before change of CVT fluid. although, until now it is still not fixed yet sad.gif

do you able to record the sound before? mine also have krok krok sound when driving below rpm 1 around 10-20km. not as always but it will happen sometimes

in my case, it's always making the noise after I warm up the car and start moving. I notice the rpm slightly drop when I accelerate slowly. gonna go bring my lovely vios to SC

Find out from Toyota SC, need to replace steering rack, lower arm and absorber which quite expensive. so I went to Vios workshop in Klang and they quote me 4.2k for steering rack and absorber. Wanna ask if it's worth it?

Why replacing steering rack?

When going through uneven road, there's some sound from the suspension side and the steering shake.

Not covered under warranty?  shocking.gif

they didn't admit it when there's an issue with it. they'll tell you that they can't produce the issue or they come with some excuse. until the warranty ends then they tell you there are this and that problem. I think that's just how business works

I would suggest you seek the advice/recommendation from bawah pokok competent mechanic on the need to replace steering rack (which I'm doubtful) whilst seeking their quote on tierod/ball joint/lower control arm if relevant.

the place that I went for quotation is at klang, V Max Autoworks Sdn Bhd at Klang area. I dunno any bawah pokok competent mechanic lol any suggestion?

it's a 5 yo car, I think the previous owner didn't slow down when going through bump (?).

Already giving way?
How many mileage ady?  biggrin.gif
Any other problems with your ride?

So far mine is still alright but mileage is quite low. +85K.
Need to change absorbers though. Getting worn out.

How about your fuel consumption? Mine is getting 380-400km only nowadays. (90% city driving though).

7/8 year mark with this guy.

Already sold it?  bye.gif

yea, around 350-400km depending on how heavy my foot
