I own G Spec Vios year 2014. The Beige/Black variant. To answer your questions as above :

1) After long hot Sunny day , the seat won't get that hot, but it's best not to give it as much as sunlight ( The leather can dry and crack )
. You just need to open door and cool it down for few minutes and can sit on it.
Rainy/Cold days is the best one, the seat is cold , very comfortable to sit on.

2) I have used it for 4 years and still in 9/10 condition. The only real leather is the perforated leather. The side , the headrest, the backs, sides, all is PU. You have to be very cautious of sharp objects and coarse surfaces. Things like paper is a big no no . Paper can be very sharp since it can cut fingers if not careful, so refrain from placing documents or any papers.

3) You just need to use leather conditioner found in supermarkets once in a while, it has the chemical to keep the leather moisture and also clean smudges from daily uses. If it's not too dirty, use microfiber cloth ( safer on leathers ) from time to time, the water can also helps keep the real leather moisture.

Leather seats is comfortable to sit , easy to clean, less dusty.

Fabric seats generally is more durable ( no worries of cracks ), can be slight dusty, a bit hard to clean if spilled with stains like beverages and food sauces. but if taken care regularly by vacuum and wipe with damp cloth, they can be very easy to care.

that is normal. booking fee just to book the car. deposit you pay if didn't get 100% loan. deposit is the different (total car price - loan amount - rebate). after pay deposit then only they register the car - provided your loan already approved.

if you not happy with the car, don't sign the acceptance letter. immediately make a complaint.

Went for my 1k service yesterday and today there's a rattling sound from the dashboard on the driver side.. tried holding the pillar cover and dashboard but sound still occur.. Any one has this issue?

Another thing, yesterday i was in a rush and was driving at a constant high speed and high RPM.. After reaching home, and leaving the car at idling.. can hear 'tak tak' sound from exhaust.. is this normal?

I am not sure if you can just change the motor by itself or not or need to change whole set..

And i believe if the mirror is being fold/unfold manually, the mechanism will break.. As previously i've accidentally knocked someone's side mirror(Honda Civic FD) and the whole mirror went loose.. and need to replace the entire side mirror set..

you can't force fold it, it will break..

everything comes with 5 years warranty right? so if the motor not working anymore within 5 years I think still can change it for free?

anyway, I would rather keep folding it and let the motor die than let someone force close it and spoil the whole thing and god knows how much more the damage can be and worst still if we don't know who is the culprit.

Just curios as I'm still waiting for mine to arrive, does Vios side mirror fold automatically when lock/unlock car? Or you have to install third party equipment?

Yes, I got the jump start cable. But my SA told me if can, get a better one. Coz the free one not strong enough.

Just got chance to check my car. Yea i got jumper cable. It is inside a black bag written toyota emergency kit. I didn't notice it since it was wrapped in nice plastic. Also inside the black bag is first aid kit. I also got tire inflator in red bag. Mine is vios g registered in 2018.

1 week after i gotten my car, rattling sound came out and i manage to identify where its coming from(dashboard air vent). Sent my car to SC this morning to fix the sound and adjust my door.. After they claimed that it has been fixed, the sound minimize.. But still manage to hear it.. Guess i'll just fix it myself.. 

Yup.. its very hard to close.. need to slam it only can close properly.. haha..It's not normal.. visit toyota SC during weekdays and ask them to adjust it..
