Hi Sifus sekalian, i new to look after my parent's NCP150 (2013) 4AT G spec, one of the very first batch of NCP150, do you guys have the Vios NCP150 4AT maintenance schedule list to share?
I cant find the manuals... I wish to know what needs to change....though its a 2013 car, but mileage about 14,000km only. Because seldom use in the past, hence was not regularly service in the past. I am not sure about 1) what grade of engine oil specified by factory, 2) how frequent to change 4 AT oil and the type of 4AT oil, and 3) type of spark plugs (not sure if the factory one is regular type or iridium plugs, and dunno what spec of plugs by factory) 4) G spec projector headlamp - high/low beam: the bulb socket type 5) G spec fog light - the bulb socket type Appreciate input from Sifus sekalian |

QUOTE(Brembo Performance @ Apr 29 2021, 10:06 PM) For engine oil i think its personal preference, after my last history with outside workshops, ill prefer to just bring in UMW for engine oil svcing even after my warranty. Thank for the reply.G spec projector bulbs confirmed Low beam & fog- h11 (fog is actually h16 but h11 works as well, theres alot of explanation for socket types in youtube) high beam- hb3/9005 From the picture below, im not sure where is the separate high beam light, hence i thought its H4, since you mentioned its not, can you point out where is the high beam light? sorry i am very new to this car, very noob ya |

QUOTE(ericho0609 @ May 5 2021, 12:39 PM) Hello all, can share pic of the LED bulb? got picture of the light beam on wall?I have vios ncp150 g spec, I have changed to led headlight novsight n26. But the beam pattern seems abnormal. So want to ask you guys whether this is normal? the ori halogen beam on projector headlamp of old ncp150 seems to have clean cut off, not sure if this LED bulb length way longer than the halogen one.... |

for NCP150 (2013) G spec.
anyone modified/added a foot rest for left leg? Feels a bit weird without it. Not sure if the facelifted version of NCP 150 got foot rest or not? |

QUOTE(james9813 @ Nov 22 2021, 08:09 AM) Hi, i'm looking to buy 2013-2016 vios used (ncp150). Is there any known issue to these models that i need to take notice? How is your experience maintaining the car? Appreciate any feedback. 😅 The rubber bushes probably worn out after many years... yet aftermarket bushes quality not up to par...haha, so going over pot holes (esp when car is still cold) may hear gluk-gluk sound. The EPS steering probably feels heavier now. Head light kinda not bright enough. Time to try LED/HID in its projector, haha, hopefully inner reflector bowl still can do its job. The above happen to my 2013 unit even though very low mileage. |

QUOTE(james9813 @ Nov 22 2021, 01:52 PM) Thks for your feedback. Coming over from using myvi 2009. I hate those klok klok sound when coming across those shitty road condition. So you mean even after changing bushes the sound still remains? During recent oil change, I can see the 'satay' bush & 'coffin' bush (aka anti-sway bush) (usual terms used by mechanic) that its kinda out of shape, i asked mechanic whether should change them or not, mechanic says they still 'usable', just produce some sound only, if i change now (with after market bush, and next door is spare part shop...), it wont last long compare to ori bush came with the car. So better wait till really kaput then only change. And true enough when last time i change bush on my ex-ride (nissan sentra), it doesnt last long, just few months if i remember correctly. So, just sabar dulu la...after car warm up, they'll produce less sound, maybe rubber bushes becomes more elastic after warm up and hence less noise. |

QUOTE(my44 @ Dec 1 2021, 11:34 PM) Have anyone replaced the car seat cover? Send to car cushion shop to 'makeover' the whole seat with real leather is the best quality and outcome, but so is the price.Ok mine is 2008 Vios (that 2nd gen, people call it dugong). The fabric seat is getting poor in condition. Wondering if had done something similar if the car seats are in poor condition. Newer vios probably don’t need lah kan? Mine is touching 14 years old so I guess some pampering is needed to freshen things up. Been browsing shopee and lazada. Saw some candidates but want to hear opinions first before I pull the trigger. Reviews on both shopee and lazada not very comprehensive as usual. Car Seat Cover is cheapest alternative way to make car seat looks new again. Just that seat cover wont be as tightly fit compare to those (eg Leather) that stich on the seat. In terms of choice, Fabric seat cover - Not so 'fashionable' compare to PU, and cheap one with thin material will not last very long. Cheaper than PU cover though. PU seat cover - is very very common n 'fashionable', but its gonna generate more heat in msia weather (burn butt park under hot sun). Plus still need some maintenance to make it last longer. Worst than real leather but price is cheaper than real leather. Synthetic fiber seat cover - Also not as 'fashionable', but its only few hundred bucks (ard rm250 if self install), thick-spongy material, comfy feel, wont burn butt even park under sun (much better than PU when park under sun). Eg of synthetic fiber seat cover: 'Cool Leather' brand (its synthetic fiber not leather ya) (look for full cover rather than half cover) Lazada link to Cool Leather Seat Cover *I am not a seller nor link to any seller. I am just a user that want to share my experience. I used 'Cool Leather' seat cover on my 2 ex-car when they always park in open air parking.
