About the auto fold wing mirror, everytime lock/unlock, the wing mirror will fold/unfold. If like this the mechanism will fail easily, I think. Anyone would like to share their experience? I mean how long will it last before the mechanism fail.

Also if some naughty people fold/unfold the wing mirror manually at the car park, will it break the mechanism?
*
you can't force fold it, it will break..

everything comes with 5 years warranty right? so if the motor not working anymore within 5 years I think still can change it for free?

anyway, I would rather keep folding it and let the motor die than let someone force close it and spoil the whole thing and god knows how much more the damage can be and worst still if we don't know who is the culprit.

Just curios as I'm still waiting for mine to arrive, does Vios side mirror fold automatically when lock/unlock car? Or you have to install third party equipment?
*
if i remember correctly its depends on model, G and above will auto fold when lock/unlock. But E definitely have to fold it manually.

in bright surrounding.. the daytime light only will on
if dark then headlamp on.. maybe disable the sensor wont trigger daytime light anymore..i nv use car with this feature before soi feel the sensor super sensitive even shady place will trigger  (maybe a good thing)

Also today i found out the seatbelt sensor beeping wont stop even my car is stopped.
- reach home area and off seatbelt.
- drive 15-20kmh, seatbelt warning beep very fast
- reach home car stopped (P), still beep beep
is this normal? can someone try 😅😂

Vios 2018 version, if you unbuckle it at the speed below 20km/h, it won't beep. If it starts beeping, buckle up and unbuckle it again then it will stop.

or when engine running, if you wanna turn off engine, but don't want to off the radio, put your gear to P, push it to the left and hold it there (don't pull down), press start/stop button.

btw

my SA [balakong] "says" toyota has tightened warranty claims process, if your mileage/time for service late, may result in voiding warranty. to keep warranty gotta buy the prepaid maintenance package. i look at him as if he was spewing BS outta his mouth, trying to hard sell the maintenance package.

any1 going for service pls reconfirm if the above is true as it affects all old cars and new even though they only start this policy now. means if 1 year ago u were late for service exp 33k for 30k, and next 43k, means your warranty also gone case, even though is was in the past

Puchong service center called to remind me to send my car to service but then my mileage hasn't due yet, then she said nevermind, wait till the mileage is due then only call them to book for service. Never mention anything about the new policy.
