Hi guys, I'm considering my options for a used car. Was thinking between a 2016 or a 2017 Vios. To my understanding, the key difference is that the 2016 uses the regular 4 Speed Auto whereas the 2017 uses the 7 Speed CVT gearbox. Is the difference in performance big?

Also, for those who are aware, what's the difference between the J and E models for 2017? I know that J is supposed to be the entry-level model but I can't find the exact spec sheet to see the difference except for this year's model.

While looking around for a used Vios, I noticed that some 2017 models don't have that Shiftronic gear, Instead of the "+" and "-" for the gearbox, it's just "D-3", "2" and "L". Is it an optional feature for the CVT versions?

Hi there, anyone here have any recommendations for a good mechanic for Vios NSP151 in Subang or Petaling Jaya area? No accident or anything like that, just want to find a good mechanic for regular maintenance outside of Toyota that might also a bit cheaper than going to official service center.
