I have a question.
I got a vios 2021 facelift edition G Spec.
Currently im having the “sagat” issue when hitting the speedbumps, even at very low speed, especially at the rear, when more than 3 ppl riding the car(overweight). Worst case, if the speedbump is very high, we can hear the scraping sound in the middle area of the car.

Is this normal?
Any recommendations to solve this issue?

Speaking of half cut, can NCP93 original 1.5L engine take smaller Toyota engine? That is assuming I can find one lah. Just wondering since other countries have 1.2L Vios/Yaris/Belta coz their fuel cost a lot (Thailand, Philippines).

While 1.5 has served me well when this Vios was young, now that it has become my 2nd car, I feel jimat petrol would be nice for grocery runs and short distance drives.

Ok just googled and it’s 1.3 which is decent displacement. No issue on engine mounting ya? ie 1nz vs 2nz being the “same”? (sorry lack of technical jargon)

Unfortunately, been doing it all the time if theres a full load of ppl in the car.
But find it hard to do it at narrow/busy roads and if i stumbled on really high/unregulated speedbumps(which ppl do it themselves in front of their house), mmg confirm scraping issue occurs.

Does this means i need to change to stiffer rear suspension and heighten my car height?

Have anyone encountered issue on Daytime running light not working when engine is on without turning on the headlamp?
When headlamp is turn on, then only DRL is working.
Model is 2016 CVT, and I just changed the DRL once at SC last year free of charge.

There’s this little extra vibration when stationed and not moving on the steering. That’s why asked to check to why is that and it happened just few days ago.

Sensing vibration on steering wheel at stationary whilst not moving?

At stationary the vehicle shock absorbers and its dampers (including springs etc), being part of suspension system are not in 'working' operation >> hence cannot be causing steering wheel to vibrate.

For that matter, even a badly unbalanced wheels(tyre and rim) cannot be causing a steering wheel to vibrate with car at stationary.

If I were you, I would 'sack' this SC and pay a visit to a known bawah pokok outside mechanic to check whether the engine rubber mountings are the culprit or not.

Dear sifus, was thinking of changing the tyre for mv vios and currently thinking of choosing between Michelin XM2+ and Goodyear Assurance Triple Max 2, can I know all in all, which one is better?

40-50 kph 'max' only at 90 degree turn/corner for an XM2 only.?
..and Triple max can go higher speeds?
So tyre models/brands still matters a lot in higher cornering speeds?
No wonder  I find it hard to go higher speed than 40-50 kph with XM2.
Do you think dropping tyre pressure  from 40 psi would help with faster cornering speed?
I'd been planning to adjust my front  cambers more negative to say -1.00 to -1.50 degree during next alignment job.
