2017 vios users, anyone face the car lose power when the air cond kick in? Howevee the power resume in short moment.. It's like when u accelerating, then the aircond kick in, ur rpm drop a bit, then gain back right after it? Its too common when driving car uphill and aircond kick in.. Last time when getting new car, also have this kind of situation, but not so noticeable, but now it getting quite noticeable..

If feel a bit then I assume its normal, but now it seems take a lil more time to gain back the power.. Any opinions? Thanks..

These 185/60 series CC5's are too soft. Even abrupt corner during standstill will kick in the ESC. Too much give in the sidewalls. Then again, it's a silent and comfort tyre.

Vios/city built with fuel efficiency. Gen2/pesona built with stability. I have more confidence on my gen2 running at 200kmh compared to my vios running at 160kmh.

Old gen2/pesona using rear multilink suspension compared to torsion beam found in vios/city and has wider tire compared to the later.

Went for my 5k service and complain the car was underpowered. Eco keep kick in to lower down my rpm when i still accelerating.
So they have reflash my ecu. Try a week and now much better responses when press on the pedal. ECO won't force to kick in when i accelerating. FC abit high but still acceptable.

Back from terengganu. 1full tank 410km. Driving speed around 140-160km/h. The car feel floating when speed 160km/h above compare my old persona this feeling is around 180km/h.

Bought the prepaid maintenance package, went for 10,000km service.

The service centre representative said for semi-synthetic, only last for 7k or 4 months then will due for next service, is that true?

If it is like that then the prepaid maintenance package not so worth it. 🤢

I think mine prepaid maintenance package is different from yours, yours one free until 40k seems very good deal.

Mine I thought can tahan until 40k, one 10k, next 20k, then 30k, finally 40k. But now they said the semi synthetic only can tahan 7k, so I feel like kinda same if I go walk in and choose the full synthetic package which can last me 10k.

Lower arm bar for sure will be noticable.
I am using a 15" 7jj rim now. Much more stable.

Today I went ahead and rotate the wheels and installed Zer0ne springs which lowers it by 30mm+-. I have to say, it rolls considerably.less and bumps aren't that noticeble, albeit you'd still felt that the dampening is less soft now (which is fine).

I took the chance because I really dislike the body roll and floatiness on the default set-up even after getting wider rims (7jj) with the same.default CC5 rubbers.

Apart from springs, they also made adjustibles and brake assemblies for local and Japanese cars. It's a brain-child of KakiMotor Sdn. bhd.

If I had more budget, Tein or Eibach would be my choice.

Updates from my SA, my car will be delivered to their retail office by tonight or tomorrow. Most probably will get by this Thursday. Like finally

About the auto fold wing mirror, everytime lock/unlock, the wing mirror will fold/unfold. If like this the mechanism will fail easily, I think. Anyone would like to share their experience? I mean how long will it last before the mechanism fail.

Also if some naughty people fold/unfold the wing mirror manually at the car park, will it break the mechanism?

I see, if i install auto fold during lock/unlock will it affect the warranty?
