most of the time I wet the 100% microfiber cloth and wipe my exterior car every 2 - 3 days at night.. Since I work 5 days weekly, I got more time to wipe interior and wax the "black" surface on weekend.. Solution = Get good wax /polish cleaner and 2x 100% microfiber clothes from Aeon..Most of the time, apply wax /polish able to remove stain using hand. Otherwise go to outside car washing / coating, get machine polished tool to remove stubborn stains..

1x 100% microfiber keep at home and another keep at the car bonnet.
Get 1x empty 100plus bottle, pour water and keep it at car bonnet. U can clean/wipe "dirt" at yr office car park if annoying. For me, if more raining, the even more hardworking I am to wipe the exterior aerokits at home / office.. Take less than 5mins to wipe front, side and rear skirting..

How to know good wax / polish or 100% microfiber cloth? I used maxz and waxco wax, and solved all the stains and dirts for past 13months.. Maxz is good for stubborn stains, while waxco is for shinning.. got many more expensive wax /polish tool at Aeon.

How to apply? Wet half of microfiber cloth, rinse out the water and wipe the surface. Put wax on the 2nd half microfiber cloth and wipe it clockwise or anti clockwise. Then lightly wipe it with 1st half wet microfiber cloth again. Will shine through.. Otherwise, get outside car wash company to perform and removing stains. Alright.

no wash.. wipe with wet microfiber cloth again on "dirt" surface. Super White colour, need to be extraordinary hardworking car owner.. the more rain, more hardworking..

If raining and when you reach home, faster way is, turn on water tap and spray it.. next day morning, already shinning or Light wipe will do. Outside machine polish tool also turning clockwise/ anti clockwise way and method..

Yes, very hardworking cleaning for past 13 months.. Treat it as an exercise and need to be consistent.. Priority cleaning, GX sport rim, windscreen and Aerokits .

Yes, these few days spent 5mins daily in office car park, to wipe the front, sides and rear, Easy task With 1x 100% microfiber cloth and 1x small bottle filled with water(kept at car bonnet). and wipe car aerokit anytime, anywhere if looks "dirty". Haha.. that's the reason choosing car white color is about.

No need frequent waxing.. Recommend wax full car every 10 - 12 months. But for me, I apply wax and touch up hard removal stains once I see it.

Did 20k service today, talk to Accessory Dept, she show me the 2018 shark fin antenna photo and cost 134.60 without paint and labour cost. For rear GX bumper, it cost 16xx .. With this price, you can install whole set aerokits outside..

Shark fin antenna, Outside accessories shop cost 26 , but black color only. For other color, order from accessories shop and ask them include paint + labour cost.

Mine, satisfied with front small light bulb = Philips T10 6200K more than
Rear number plate light bulb = Osram T10 6700K Sky Bright..

Slightly different colors, between 6200K and 6700K Kelvin.. IMHO, Philips color is more nicer, Much more expensive but lesser Kelvin.

2. Try manual mode, M+ or M- jalan at Taman first, before you go out to main road.. Get familiarity with "MANUAL" gears..
3. Driving as normal, no need to press hard pedal.. What's the purpose by doing this? Normal road, max 80 km/h . Highway, max 110/h ..

Today's TECH engine is work well . Myths about the soft press pedal before 1k, after service, need to press harder pedal to certain speed, to get engine function even better..

An advise, Driving as normal, follow traffic rules, turn on signal when turning, DO NOT turn on fog lights on normal clear night, ..etc etiquettes are more important..

New car, not sure when will get new refresh, as new engine was launched 4th Quarter 2016.
Few neighborhood countries got totally new face lifted Vios to newer exterior design and launched younger brother of Vios, Yaris Ativ, which got lower horse power and Torque.. In some country, Vios got different name, Yaris, hatchback to compete with Jazz, other hatchback cars....

1) He claimed bought G spec on 10th this month, 2) went to SC 3x within 20days.. I'm using more than 1 year, I also don't have the mentioned issues, NO ratting noises, or no idea on "troubles" ..

1.Go to different SC and highlight yr concerns. It is outsourcing SERVICE centre that run the services.. No longer operate by UMW Toyota, but Heiwa Auto..
2. Highlight yr feedbacks to yr Sales Person, or try to get Sales / Service Mgr to listen yr feedbacks for improvement.

If doesn't help, use my friend way, write email/ call up to UMW Toyota HQ..

if cannot settle in 3 weeks, write email to Toyota HQ, JPN.

If 2 months, no reply,keep/ file yr photo, receipt, invoice, ..etc evidences, feedback to consumer tribunal court?? All the best

Go any SC, go to parts order person, he / she will show parts photo album. He / She will Look/ show year 2018 Vios parts number..

For me, I didn't order any shark fin antenna from SC or accessory shop. I plan to use Vios until koyak and upgrade spouse 5yrs old Myvi to better car in the future.

Order from SC.. COST 44.. Will take 4 - 5 business days..

In the meantime, use wax to remove the stains..

During CNY visiting, one relative owned G spec car saw my GX emblem logo, and said/told peoples buy GX less, as peoples will go and opt for TRD, if they can afford GX price..

My replied is simple, GX sport rim is two tone colors..
Later, he also agreed, GX sport rim is nicer than TRD sport rim..
And he also plan plus want to add latest aerokit skirting and sport rim for his G spec car..

If opt for other 16 inch rim, will need to buy bigger NEW tyres, slightly lower pickup, but more stable .. Will tyre shop or you want to make disadvantage losses trade in tyres??

1st year, New car insurance about 2.5k and road tax 90.
Transfer any NCD 55% from old car/family member to new car, pay 1.2k for basic general insurance.

2nd year, car value depreciated, insurance from MSIG or AIG, general insurance cost 1.8k , with 55% NCD rebate, cOST about 880 and road tax 90.

If getting quotation from online etiqa, more cheaper and got extra 10% discount.. But I opt for MSIG, AIG or Allianz, as got agent and office, in case need to query or claim ..

Note: Basic general insurance here, without main screen windshield, special natural disasters, 3rd drivers, and others..

For me, existing GX 15" sport rim is just nice and I got no plan to upgrade nor change bigger tyres. Better save the $$ for future newer or better grade car rather than certain exterior/interior accs.

Vios engine was changed on 4th Quarter 2016, with VSC and many features.. Beginning 2018, Vios New looking have changed .

SRS airbags were standard requirements in automotive carmaker.. Having 4 or 6 airbags for car B segment will be advantage, BUT Vios car owners MADE wisdom decision to have less COMPROMISED QUALITY with Toyota, unlike other B segment competitors..

With Vios car, you got all round DISC brake.. Honda City or Almera in B segment, only front DISC brake..

See the difference between usefulness levels.. 1) Happens(airbags) and 2) Prevention(DISC brakes)..

Go to accs shop to order aerokit skirting from 800 - 1200 if you want to add aerokit skirting.. At Toyota SC cost > 2300 ..

For GX sport rim, it cost about 1550 - 1600 from SC..

4x GX sport rim from Toyota Service Centre. Attached are the part number receipt and SC system display. Use back existing 4x 15inch tyres.. Need to include tyres alignment and balancing..
