For 1800, pu aerokit material quote? Hmmm... let me ask my Sales or Service Advisor.

For me, my GX aerokit cost me 1200 in April 2017 with paint and installation.. I forgotten about the material type.. in mudah, lelong, lazada, GX aerokit price range from 850 - 1400

New Myvi 2018 engine is using Toyota / Daihatsu Boon engine
code name 2NR - VE 1.5 c.c. 102hp 6000rpm, 136Nm at 4200rpm..Previously used by Toyota Advanza

Vios engine is using code name 2NR - FE 1.5cc 107hp 6000rpm, 140Nm torque powertrain 4000rpm..

Engine from same manufacturer, Toyota / Daihatsu, but different specs requirements.. No wonder Myvi sales top Msia for past many many Years, after PROTON legacy..
Thanks to Perodua SA when promoting Bezza and Myvi Boucher.. hmm... Why SA said, It is Toyota Vios 's 1.3 and 1.5 engines?? Earn a living and better sales commission??

Mine is not J spec.. Only J spec don't fog lamp, 60:40 foldable seat and many items.. i installed GX aerokit 1100, white t10 LED bulbs (front small light and rear number plate bulbs) Philips and osram cost between 65 - 120, get from car accessories shop..

For GX sport rim cost 15xx, front chrome grille cost 400 , emblem( G cost 44 and big X cost 77) ordered from Toyota Service Centre....Got free paint from Service Advisor in small bottle for future touch up. No much changes as now.. Keep more $ for C segment or MK car in future..

Navigation is optional accessory.. All specs don't have navigation, unless additional upgrade during placing booking. Sales Person able to do it.. Otherwise, show salesman Toyota website or brochure from Toyota website.. Seek the bottom optional portion : -

Check it out with salesman and Toyota Service Centre..

If not ok, need to buy from accesory shop.. If ok, will Toyota accept and trade in used present HU ? What are you going to do with present HU?

For me, acoustic windshield, rear brake DISC, and exterior sport rim and aerokit will be priority.

Any photo of the damaged??

1) Perhaps go to SC, assess and quote the repair/ replacement cost..If you can afford, just repair and replace using own $..

2) Otherwise, save yr $$ and live with it, who want to notice tiny marks?? or if got major replacement in future, fix it all 2gether. Either thru NCD, 3rd party or other.

What app Service Advisor today, he said cost about 450 - 500 per set front only at Service Centre.. As school holiday, Service Centre is fully functional, as well many staffs out of office.. Very busy not entertaining my whatapp..

Perhaps you may check it out with outside foreman..

Did this coating at SC during 5k service.. Quite shiny and nice paint color.. Can last for up to 6 - 7 months, without frequent car washing.. Just use wet cloth and wipe..Cheaper than outside 1.3k STD coating package, some coating package till price 6,888 .

Will apply coating during 20k service coming 3rd week Jan.

455 cost for 1x set brake pads front.

Year 2018 Vios comes with front parking sensors, new DVD-AVX entertainment, shark fin antenna, rear spoiler black colour, scuff plates and many more.. Check it out with yr sales advisor.


I like the shark fin antenna, DVD-AVX and rear netting bumper..
Top up interior and exterior.. but safety features are same..

Year 2018 car got 2k rebate. Year 2017 car got 7k - 8.5k rebate. Not sure still got stock?
But year 2018 Got many upgrades, interior and exterior looks New. If budget allows, go for newer version. Otherwise, vice versa ..

Compared with few sales advisors and decide what is best deal? If wait for CNY promotion,you may worry not sure can arrive new car b4 CNY? Check yr wallet pocket first, whether can afford, monthly hire purchase , bank loan / pay cash ? and ask yourself, why you need to buy new car? Why not used car, or year 2017 car? Hope you can decide.

Why Thailand, Indonesia, CHN, S'pore and PHI got selling EXTRA T model like Yaris ATIV, which got smaller engine 1.2CC beside Vios? Yaris ATIV Reason not coming to M'sia are lower demand, ppls preference for 1.5CC and No need to bring in an entry-level lower-B segment sedan to complete on A segment car category like Bezza, Axia, Saga , right? Oppss.. Daihatsu own 30% of Perodua and supply engines.. Hard to find silver, white or other colors, except black color in accessory shop. Only black color, cost 26, without labour installation..You may get right color from Aeon / SC and paint /install yrself..

2018 TRD is using black color shark fin antenna.
