c0c0, try check for any soap smell...
i think there's soaps somewhere in the tank
or probably from the water itself
normally foamy like that coz by soap or detergent
ask the LFS whether they use soap to wash the tank accidentally
may be new worker didn't know n used soap to wash the tank


Done WC just now for my JAR
since the water quite cloudy, i used 2 filters
1 is the internal filter (border filter) & the other one is overhead filter
NOW, i won't worry about cloudy water anymore
the JAR seems happy, hungrier than before

not soap...don looks like soap...like the water mix with something...looks salty u know the small little bubble that will not pop...

coconut this this quite common for me.
Every time I encounter this I will let the water circulate for few hours and after some times it will dissapere by itself.
One more thing, that water also got some sorf of smell (busuk) right? I think is the water quality(may be due to cholorine).

try put the water to another baldi or whatever
try smell that water, may be comes from the water source

c0c0, soap buble not usually come in big shape
there's also bubble soap with small shape & it lasts longer than ever

u know what will i do abt this?
place the tank in vertical position then spray water thouroughly abt 5-10 minutes
i know it's impossible (tank heavier) but worth trying

6ft u must be kidding me man,......it takes 5 people to carry that tank ....haha...i will do more water change....

if u got patience & wanna wait to fill the tank, just do it lah

I know the tank heavier BUT it's worth it & at least u absolutely sure about the cleanliness of the tank

U can always wc and wc..till nothing inside

if u used sump , put in 2 kg of Carbon

c0c0, the water foam is not a soap. It is becoz the water not stable yet (connected to bacteria). Let it cycle for few days and Try to ask LFS for the medicine for the water foam. OR Use your UV filter to overcome it.

haha.. me also have that problem when first setup the sump tank for my new 4ft cabinet tank.. water cycle for 3rd day now.. and its getting lesser

i wish i can join u guys to go aquarama but me too tied up with my work.. sob sob..

I seen snow white aro at one of the lfs in malacca b4 however I never see it properly coz I'm rushing that time (mother keep calling me).

the fish min also 11 inch.. label as yellow tail.. but next to it.. there is a yellow tail of same batch.. but color totally different.. dark top like greenie.. scale like greenie but the tail yellow in color..
whereas this white fella.. being 11 inch no sign of other color.. and the top also white.. and the fin is transparent white.. when relected to light.. bring extremely light green hue..
