bro madstone.. i know u got experience in selling aros... my frenz wan to sell his red arowana(2)... wif cert.. around 15 inches 4 years old.. he said he wan to get rid of it n get cash faster... erm.. may i know how u transfer the fish.. u COD.. how.. u got any air pump for fish? bcoz u at cyberjaya.. i may nid ur help.. bro..can or not...?
*
Things to prepare before transferring the aro

1. Fish Stabilizer
2. 3 big plastics. Can ask for free from local fish shop (FS). 1 for catching the fish from the tank. Another 2 to put the aro later. Double layer of plastics.
3. Air pump to pump air into the plastic after you put the aro inside. Bigger pump the better coz can fill the plastic faster.

a - Reduce water level from aro tank enough for the aro to swim. Better fill the water into the plastic where you want to put the aro later. Make sure the water level in the plastic is not too much. I think 3/4 of the plastic should be enough.
b - Put fish stabilizer into the tank to make the aro calm. After few minutes can see the aro swim slowly & can touch the aro.
c - Catch the aro using that 1 plastic slowly & put it into the double layer plastic slowly. Fill the plastic with air & bind the plastic with a rope. Make sure u bind the 1st layer plastic first & then bind both 1 layer & 2 layer plastic together.
d - Place the plastic in horizontal position.
e - Place the plastic in a horizontal container. Toyogo got long container. Make sure the plastic can fit the container.
f - Put in the back seat of the car.

I think that's the steps i've done when selling my Pearl Jardini.

Anyone who feel want to add, please do so.

shared my yellow aro with 4 feet tank,
mixed with 5 silver shark, 4 sultan, 1 bandaraya...
at d last my aro can accept tankmate      blush.gif
*
Good for u bro
nice one
i think when your aro getting bigger, less tankmates like 1 or 2 would be enough, IMO
unless u buy bigger tank like 5 or 6 footer wink.gif
QUOTE(Dddrive @ Mar 31 2008, 04:07 AM)
Hi all arowana sifus,
Wondering if we can mix like 2 or 3 types of arowana together like green and black pearl together ?
want to ask b4 go buy later fight to death sakit wallet
*
You can add 2,3 types of aro as long as u got bigger tank like 6 footer or 5 footer may be,
then, add the aro at the same time
meant, if u already have 1 aro inside the tank & want to put another 2 or 3,
take out the existing aro, change the tank interior a bit
& put all aro at the same time
QUOTE(mydelsol @ Mar 31 2008, 09:00 AM)
bro,
how big your Aro, did u jus recently buy it? reason i asked is i also want to add some
"deco" fishes inside for my Ozzie rclxms.gif thanks
*
This is also depend on your tank size bro
if 4 footer, better put 1 pleco only(bandaraya)
more tankmates will occupy more space or tank area
