go to reputable lfs and chances of getting rip is minimal, and even if there are wrong tagging which are very rare you can send the fish back to the lfs and they'll exchange for you.

I know Xian Leng Shah Alam has many Red but for good quality ones a bit on the expensive side and last saturday I was in house of arowana I saw they've a batch of very young red all already showing crack on the cheek and the price are very affordable.

no need to feel excited, on monday I clean the tank on the Gold, and decide to tidy up the wallpaper (background poster) scare the hell out of the small fella and now back to puasa again.

Think I'm also immune dy, just dump in 1 SW every morning if the fella eat then good lo but if he puasa then I leave the fella alone also lor. Guess some aro is like that la very sensitive, just our luck.

QUOTE(Noyze @ Aug 27 2007, 01:49 AM)
well was just wondering cos like the people i know has chip implants n certs for their aro's and has been doing so for quite sometime. Furthermore i think that aro's without certs or cip implants have lower re-sale value? i'm not too sure lah but due to the influx of illegal aro's being brought in, it might effect ? I dunno just correct me if i'm wrong.

The problem is like my cousin who "brought" in 1 Chilli red and 1 green red aro damn perfect and damn nice but he said selling price limited to malaysia and to sell to SG susah a bit cos no cert and no chip or something liddat lah lolx
*
cert or no cert we still cannot export the fish...you need another export licence/permit to export arowanas

For 200 its definately not a super red unless that is your bro selling to you..half sell half give.

About XL starving the fish I dun believe la, ppl always have rumours when maybe they jealous of thier excellent R&D on selective breeding. But if you say minimum feeding then I believe la, where got fishshop pump thier young aro wan...ask manufacture she'll know since she's from the trade. I mean this I can accept, if I'm lfs I'll do the same thing, if I pump habis la within 2 months if I dun sell the fish its going to grow at least 2" how to sell then???

XL fish has reach F4/F5, thats why you find the gold and red with color coming out so early. If you were to find a 9" red with XL type of full color imagine how long you need to stunt the fish? The normal red to achieve that kinda color takes at least 2 years...so dun tell me the fish wont look cacat...2 year old fish 9" only right?

Added on August 29, 2007, 11:56 amSome of XL BR

The development of the color is very impressive, all these are 8" - 10" fish only nia

my red ok liao start eating....but still scared in his big tank.....i feel want to partition my 6 footer...and slowly release him....now keeping his pecs fin close to his body only....

Maybe some tank mate would help.

QUOTE(serewen @ Sep 3 2007, 06:44 PM)
you keep your cili as alone? I heard other forums said that put more salt and water pumping will reduce the aro's emo.

don't know was that true.
*
actually try not to use salt everytime, aro doesnt come from brackish water, infact the source are very pure and mildly acidic.
