Err...

Someone wanna buy my red jar
he's in Sentul & have only MYVi to transport the aro & the 4 ft tank

I asked LFS, have to use sleeping meds to calm the aro a bit
transfer to the big plastic with the same water from the tank & go to LFS to put oxygen in it
& transport to Sentul

any suggestions?

The problem with my red jar is, he like to struggle a lot the last time i brought it home

I think sleeping meds will calm him so i can easily move him into the plastic bag
then, go back to LFS to add more oxygen & tie the plastic tightier
the LFS told me to put the same water from the tank
reduce the water level in the tank & put the sleeping meds

tonight i'm gonna move the fish & transport it to new home sweat.gif
hope can make documentation of the journey to new home icon_idea.gif

How am i going to prepare the tank 1st before bring home the aro?

Put the aro somewhere else first?
Ask him to set up the tank 1st
then bring home the aro?

Like that?

My aro already went home to new 'house'

quite sad to let it go
For the first time in 1 year & a half i touched my red jar back
so calm & so cool cry.gif
kinda hard to let it go

The Chronolgy of Letting Go My Red JAR

6.30PM: Pumped out the water from the tank, put some into the plastic bag, maintain the water level at 30%. Enough for the aro to swim
8.15PM: The new owner arrived & we started to packed things up, First, i put sleeping liquid into the tank. After few minutes, aro getting calm & slowly moved. Can touch it's back, so damn soft.
8.45PM: Used plastic garbage to transfer the aro from the tank into the plastic bag
9.00PM: Aro tied in plastic bag with oxygen
10.00PM: We finished packed everything.

Last call from the new owner, the aro seem to be in good shape. No tear here n there. No broken fin. Aro in great condition. Sunday planning to visit the aro with it's new owner.

Kinda hard to let it go. 1 year plus with me. sad.gif

i asked the guy to start giving food after few days

For me, the best way is to go to Xian Leng Shah Alam near Tasik Shah Alam
There, you will learn more abt aro
go around & ask them & u will regret no more

BTW, how much is your budget?
Is RM3K, u can get a really nice Blood Red
RTG is below RM1K, RM800 also can get
the thing is, u have to search thouroughly

IMHO green or Yellow expensive than Pearl Aro

For a beginner it is advisable to get Pearl Aro
If anything happen, still can save lot of money
Yellow & Green Aro normally cost more than RM150++

After that, with experience u can start with expensive aro like RTG or Chili Red

madstone & coconut & serewen -

THANKS for the feedback rclxms.gif am getting either a Green or Silver Aro, question
can I put both in the same tank?  hmm.gif

Silver aro is not advisable to buy
better buy Pearl or if you got extra fund, buy green aro or yellow tail aro
between green & yellow, i prefer yellow

All the best in finding your aro

THANKs, managed to find a shop selling white/pearl Aro for RM80/- about 15cm in length  thumbup.gif
is the price and size ok? Very healthy looking and very "kan-cheong" Aro, it followed my fingers around the tank...good sign? nod.gif
*
Before you buy that Aro
do u have extra fund, like RM1K
if you have fund like that, might as well buy RTG, not more than RM1K

What is your budget BTW?

thanks again bro, attached a pic of the aquarium for the coming Aro, 3.5x1.5, should i put in some deco?
stones? corals? any recommendations?
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

IMHO, 3.5 tank is quite small la my friend
might as well you start with 4 ft tank
i know quite big & expensive but worth buying & later when your aro getting bigger 3.5 in smaller to the aro
even 4 footer will look small when your aro grow into 2 feet (learned from my experience)

never mind laaaa
may be you can try start with 3.5 1st, then if got more fund, try change it to 4 or 5 footer tank
BTW, nice tank you have there

Deco? I think no need any deco, just let it be
So, what aro are you planning to buy my friend?
Pearl? Yellow Tail?
Yellow Tail can get around/below RM200 if you know how to bargain

try go to Jln Pasar this weekends
Jln Pasar got lot of cheap YT & GA plus really cheap Pearl thumbup.gif
better go with someone who know which aro is a beauty & which not wink.gif
