I will go for a test drive of the 2.0L on Saturday. The features are good enough for me. I just want to feel how it drives and handles.

Dealers are giving a few thousand discount. A tactic to counter the new CX5 2.0 GL, I presume.

Tried 2.0 , car seems sluggish and underpower. It'll be fine if u looking for some smooth daily ride. The feature though I agree is value for money if u compare it with 1.5 turbo as specs almost same . Initially was going to consider this but end up dropping the idea. Most of the salesman discourage 2.0, dunno why though.

the discount is most likely due to year end promotion. Mind you it'll affect year end car value the most in terms of used car value when you sell it in future.

I booked the 2.0L, now your comment making me feel a bit concerned. Tested with latest Mitsubishi Outlander CKD 2.0, feels that almost the same, that’s why I opt for CRV 2.0L

Thats solely my opinion though, i seriously think if you just city drive 100% it'll be worth it. But when I test drive to overtake car, the car throttle like no response sweat.gif
It'll be your call & preferences, you may take note forummers opinion but dun be swayed by comments solely as everyone have their own preferences and constraints smile.gif

They discourage 2.0L is to make you spend more on cars. That's all they do. From a 2.0cc car, can sweet talk till you get 1.5cc Turbo.  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

Initially I thought so, but he ended up recommending me cheaper cars and also from other brands tongue.gif

Do not be too concern about it, unless you have additional funds, then you may think about it. If you have budget constrained. 2.0cc is nice to drive too.

Yup, the 2.0 when i tested it, i'm seriously impressed by the features and spec, if u go thru 2.0 & 1.5 TC 2wd spec, there's only minimal difference. Too bad i can't accept the sluggish feel.
Anyway as my budget only can go to 2.0, hence I dropped the idea.
