Nah.. I didn't resort to name calling, I merely stated facts. if anything, you started with your rant by calling concerned folks out as nay sayers. Not to worry, I'll make my purchase when I'm good and ready. Much better to have done one's research before purchasing than be stuck with a product plagued by issues it shouldn't have had in the first place. Than burying my head in the sand...
FYI, if consumers like you keep insisting that defects are "normal" or non-existent, how then will companies who are known to always seek the cheapest costs for highest profits,...how then will they actually improve their products to meet market expectations. See Japan..
Edit: As the owner of arguably one of the last best designed Honda Civics and before a mod gets feisty about going off topic. I apologize and appreciate all feedback from current and future owners of the G5 CRV. I had hoped that by openly discussing the good along with the bad, more reports will be made & HM will take even more notice and not only fix the current ones, but also ensure that build quality is significantly improved on all future vehicles. So we all can enjoy the reliability that the Honda brand is known to provide.
Completely second voncrane as well. This is an open forum, everyone is free to comment, and we are here to listen to critics. I'm looking forward to buy a SUV as well, hence i'm here screening through forums to look for comments. Lame words from you stating "No problem here so far after 7 months of owning the car" is not the words i wanted to read. Those are SA words trying to push sales. I don't have time to read through FB, twitters or etc, so should be thankful to voncrane who willing to share them here.FYI, if consumers like you keep insisting that defects are "normal" or non-existent, how then will companies who are known to always seek the cheapest costs for highest profits,...how then will they actually improve their products to meet market expectations.
