Tried 2.0 , car seems sluggish and underpower. It'll be fine if u looking for some smooth daily ride. The feature though I agree is value for money if u compare it with 1.5 turbo as specs almost same . Initially was going to consider this but end up dropping the idea. Most of the salesman discourage 2.0, dunno why though.

the discount is most likely due to year end promotion. Mind you it'll affect year end car value the most in terms of used car value when you sell it in future.

They discourage 2.0L is to make you spend more on cars. That's all they do. From a 2.0cc car, can sweet talk till you get 1.5cc Turbo. laugh.gif laugh.gif

I booked the 2.0L, now your comment making me feel a bit concerned. Tested with latest Mitsubishi Outlander CKD 2.0, feels that almost the same, that’s why I opt for CRV 2.0L

Do not be too concern about it, unless you have additional funds, then you may think about it. If you have budget constrained. 2.0cc is nice to drive too.

Guys, need some advise HRV or CRV ?..have been thinking of which version to go with taking into the various considerations such as technical glitches and maintenance. Any comments ?

It's really depend whether you need that xtra spaces from CR-V or not. I bought HR-V instead of CR-V that time its because all the while its only 4 persons (including driver) in the car. Just get either one of them based on your demands.

HRV does have the stabilizer bar problem, and unfortunately I was one of the lucky person among them. But then after they provide the free service for changing the bar. The car is pretty good and nice without any of the unwanted sound. I would believe facelift HRV will not have this issue anymore as Honda may have rectified the issue. For CR-V wise, there are still lots of new case coming out until now. So like other CR-V owner said, wait a little bit more and make sure all issues that they addressed in CR-V are all fixed.
