Value is depreciating 10% yearly.

This month Honda is providing RM1000 Sehati Sejiwa discount. So next couple of months I'm guessing they will provide some kind of rebate but won't be much that would be able cover the depreciating value, unless you are going to sell your car > 10 years later. I'm also having the same dilemma as you.
*
IMHO, if you can wait then you should wait till Jan 2018. As for me, I went ahead and booked one because my previous ride was getting problematic and I needed to sell it before its value depreciate further and before I need to spend more money to fix it. So I can't really afford to wait few months as I am planning to use the CRV as my daily ride, and my 2nd car that I am using now its too expensive to maintain as daily ride.

Exactly same situation. I guess it will depends o each individual needs. If you can afford to wait then go for it. My previous car, took on 29 Dec haha again, similar situation I can't wait another year where my old car will depreciate more

The car that I've just sold was also registered in December wan. The buyer also used that fact to tekan my asking price down. doh.gif

Do those shop include installation as well? Or is DIY?
*
You mean for those window shades? They are magnetic ones. So u just need to stick it to the door window frames, that's all.

How do you verify that there's no salesman or property agents? smile.gif

The other car club that I'm in, they require every member to send a photo of themselves standing next to their car, and with the driver door opened

Like salesmen don't have access to cars and cameras? tongue.gif  Say, that's the requirements, how about folks like me who are more privacy conscious and wouldn't want to show face or plate number (blurred). Rejected join request huh.
*
If a salesman wanna do that then of coz we can't stop him from doing that. But at least u have a record of that car registration plate no, so if there's anything fishy it won't be that hard to trace him.
And if you are one of those who are really that privacy conscious, then u have the option to attend one of the those "official TT", or be contend with just participating in discussions here in LYN forum lor 😉

We are about to hit the target of 10 pax in order to get a special price of RM100 instead of the usual price of RM119.90. Anyone interested please do let me know asap ya. U can check out Presizes Malaysia on FB or their website ;-)

Where can I buy 3rd party modulo bodykit?

At the moment there is none other than the official one from Honda. But keep an eye on the Taiwan and Thailand aftermarket scenes. Usually we will get it after them smile.gif

Recently about 17 of us from the whatsapp chat group did a Group Buy of the Presizes Screen Protector for the infotainment head unit. Managed to get it at RM100 only instead of the usual price of RM119.90.
For members who live outside Klang Valley, they have received it through Poslaju. All of them gave very positive reviews of the screen protector. Whereas some of us who are in Klang Valley, met up with the Presizes guy yesterday as they have agreed to install it for us.
End result? Top notch installation workmanship, and 4 very satisfied G5 owners. It really helps to protect the screen from scratches, especially if you send your car for car wash outside. And the quality of the Korean-made film is much much better than most of those el-cheapo ones from China. Check out the link for the installation video. Let me know if any of you are interested to join our next round of Group Buy ya! 😉

I've seen several units on the road, both the Turbo and NA. I am guessing the Turbo is more in actual registration.

On the exterior the only difference between the two variants is the wheels and tailpipe.
*
For TCP variant, the presence of the radar just below the front chrome grill is a big giveaway. And the mesh there is honeycomb shapes instead of horizontal bars.

Sorry guys, my bad. I just found out that it was my sun glasses on the holder. Lol! But the armrest still got the squeezing noise. I'm sure can be fixed.
*
Many of the members in our CRV G5 WhatsApp group had the same problem too. Some choose to live with it, few actually sent back their cars to Honda and got it fixed. U might want to do the same if you can afford to leave the car there overnight

Hello again guys.

After months of deliberation, looks like I'll be going for a CR-V as my next vehicle (TC-P model).

Appreciate if you guys have any good leads on Honda centres that offer good discounts/packages. So far, the only one I've been to (Tenaga Setia at PJ) is offering a RM6k to RM7k discount.

Any other centres can offer better deals? Thanks and appreciate it.
*
Quite a number of us booked ours with Honda Semenyih (SAG Ultimate). For year end promo, I think they can offer up to 7k or 7.5k. Pm me if you need the contacts
