Hi guys, hows the CRV build quality and known issues so far? I did look through this thread of known issues. Are they slowly getting ironed out? Interested on a 1.5 TCP for my parents to purchase they are 60 y/o. Any good SA based in KL/Shah Alam?

CRV build quality is good, so far driven almost 1000km. no issue.
if you consider buying a car for 60/yo, you can also consider Xtrail, i find X trail seat is more comfortable.

Here's the big issues i found on today during otw from kl to jb
After 140km/h there's a noise from the engine parts and it's so loud.
The sound reduced but still can hear after 160kn/h
Anyone here facing the same issues like me? Many owner of CRV G5 in FB group found the same issue like. I dont know whether is bearing issue or tyre.

Guys, any humming noise after exceed 140km/h? Now crv g5 group of Malaysia gathering the information and send to Honda Malaysia for further action

I have driven 140kph before but probably for just a minute before having to reduce speed.. it's not often I get to go to 140kph unfortunately. What sort of humming noise did you hear? From the engine or cabin noise? I definitely do not recall any noise but I didn't drive that fast enough anyway.

No problem here so far after 7 months of owning the car. Don’t listen to the nay sayers especially those that write a lot and who didn’t even own the car.

I mean, just go buy a CX5 already and stop haunting on a CRv thread.

Anyone else here is having some sound/wind noise problem on the new CRV?

Mine would have noticeable wind noise (humming) at 90kmh and gets very bad and annoying above 120kmh. Problem looks like from driver side door. Honda checked the rubber seals and they look all fine, not sure where the problem lies.

If there are any strong outdoor smell (like travelling behind a garbage truck or near a sewer treatment plant) the smell would leak into the cabin even with air circulation turned on.

Sound proofing is also very bad for this car, i'd say even proton fares better, seriously wtf.

Any workshop experts in finding the fault? since Honda SC is pretty fucking shit at it.

Really dislike the usb/hdmi ports location...affecting the storage area (prone to usb bending/dislocated or port wear tear) and its dark to see plug/unplug

Also fhe hdmi video playback limitation is really irritating....anyone tried hacking ?

According to the handbook, the sensor will diagnose recalculate the mileage for oil change.

But _ _ _  still happens after one week..
