Nice! Which color? notworthy.gif Congrats on the new ride.

Ignite Red! Continuing our red car tradition lol. Thanks! Ride is so smooth while on battery, idling theres nothing to feel. Can hear the transition to engine when the car needs the power, but nothing obtrusive at all.

Loving the space and bose speakers as well!

I really love the HUD feature. Even include the compass display for fun.  biggrin.gif

Turn on android auto and you'll get the arrows for navigation! Hehe so fun exploring the car's features.

Hey RS owners, any of you can confirm if you're facing the same issue?

1. aircond leak (probably for Turbo owners too?)
2. When on EV mode, do you hear a soft beep when accelerating? (Need to go on a non busy road to hear this)
3. When pressing the brake, do you hear a click?

I'll be going to the service centre to check soon, but just wanna know if you're facing this too.

Seems like there won't be any steering rack replacement. It's just a steering assembly kit, "STRG WORMAINTENANCE", some part replacements. Different to my civic last time which had a replacement.

That makes sense.. Honda global has pointed out that the worm wheel is the culprit, see https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a62570036...ng-rack-recall/
*
Ah I see. I thought it was a typo, seeing "worm" lol. Thanks for the info. The steering does feel smoother now, not that it was bad before but it's better. Sent in at about 8.30am, ready by 3.30pm.

Wonder if there's anywhere that we can trade in tyres. Feel like getting the primacy suv, with only 14k on my current toyo.

14k is quite a bit of wear, you can try to go any tyre shop to see if they'd take it. IMO even if you pay full price, the Primacy SUV+ is well worth it. I traded in the Toyo shit tyres on day one
*
I thought it was okay at first but after 14k, you could feel the lesser attributes of the Toyos. Don't get me started on the noise lol.

Used a MC5, Primacy 4 before this. Will try and ask tyre shops nearby. One shop quoted me RM720+ per piece for the primacy.

Mine 15K. How many km do you think it will last before needing replacement.
*
Not so sure myself. Read online some users got about 30-40k but I'm looking to replace it now. The nuances of the car somehow gets magnified with how quiet the engine is, and I'm not a heavy footed driver. Try to keep it on EV most of the time , hence the tyre noise gets a bit more evident.

Then u should change to use primacy, it more quiet than toyo. The stock tyre can last at least 35k km, my wife can drive until 50k km. So it is a bit wasted if you change at 14k km. Maybe you can look for tyre shops that allow for trade in, some tyre shop in johor allow trade in with old tyre for rm100 or 200 although their new tyre already sell very cheap, their main focus is to hit the sales target set by Michelin for 6-8% extra rebate which is also their profit. KL area won't give that kind of offer
*
Yup hence my initial query of where can I find shops to trade in lol.

Yea totally understand how long it can last but I think the tyres can be better hence I'm looking at the primacy suvs. Or if not I'm thinking of the Conti UC SUVs, seems to get quite good reviews as well.

Had problems with the steering wheel veering off to the left on a straight road. Had to redo the calibration, wasn't an alignment issue. Did it with my 20k service, wasn't charged but was wondering if this might happen again.

On a side note, is anyone contemplating on soundproofing their crv? Was suggested by my mechanic and seemed viable. Anyone done before to their other cars? How much weight will it add on ?

for mercedes c klass. This is the norm. but unheard of for a jap car. could be the  camber issue?
*
It's still happening so I'm going back to them.. they've done the alignment on my 20k service so I'm not sure what they'll diagnose this time.

Additionally I'm affected by the recent recall, will do it together with the steering.

My car is still pulling to the left, steering is lighter to turn to the left on a straight line. Don't wanna waste my time with the SC anymore.

Any recommendations for a good alignment/balancing shop? Preferably near Kota Damansara.

Wonder if anyone has searched / found replacements for the front, back and side cameras. Ones that do not require any new wiring.

Would love to see a higher res output on the screen.

Ah and another, what dashcam are you guys using?
