Hi guys. Is there any particular reason why we shouldn't remove this tiny sponge and let it detach it self later?[attachmentid=9138681]

Yup agreed. That's y i told the same to the SA. But he told me better leave it there for "extra protection" as your neighbour at carpark area might hit you door when they open theirs. But i guess this reason is not really valid though as the door position might be not in side-by-side position 😅
Did you removed yours from the day you own it?
I still kept mine on my old car LOL though in a way it really helps. just recently I need to get a mechanic to unlock my locktech (I forgot my key

) he has to maneuver in a tight spot as there was a car beside mine (since in a parking lot) with this tiny sponge, it saved both our cars without any scratches
Depending on your need and whether the OCD in us can take it
But I will still remove it as I'm considering coating the ride hehe

Does anyone know how long to get the 1.5t (non premium model) if finances are settled?
Took me 2 days to settle the finances and signed but yet to get my car - around 7-8 working days now

can't wait for it to arrive (SA told me unless I opt for Blue / Olive, they have it now)
