300mbps is same function as dual channel ram. It double the speed because got 2 channel. Depend on your area.

QUOTE(budi1413 @ Sep 2 2017, 11:39 AM)
If your location covered by Digi LTE-A, you will get higher speed with Cat6 modem. smile.gif
*
Currently with cat4 able to hit 40mbps..
Is that mean under LTE A and cat 6 modem I able to hit 80mbps ??

Theoretically yes.
*
how about below condition
Max carrier speed limit to 150mbps
Max cat 4 currently able to hit 150mbps

Will using cat 6 modem break 150mbps limit since running 2 channel??

No and its carrier aggregation, not running 2 channel or dual channel or whatever.
*
Got you...
All device should be support CA out of box if carrier using CA band which support by the devices

Since with CA, we not able to max 150mbps downloading/uploading speed, why we need 300mbps modem ??

Only cat6 got CA. Cat4 no CA.

That's why we need 300mbps cat6 modem.
*
thank all..
i test with Cat 4 device and Cat 6 device on same area.. indeed the speed is double in Cat 6 device, if not yet reaching the carrier limit..

Digi should upgrade more tower rather than introduce LTE A...
i feel their tower is congested...
Maxis still on LTE yet the speed is fast and stable

This is why they introduce LTE-A to ease the congestion.
*
it still congested in my area.
it hardly achieve more than 20mbps and not stable...sometime drop below 5mbps even on LTE A

So I assume you're using a LTE-A capable device?
Well I think you have to sync up your expectation with Digi. If i am not wrong, the quality assurance set by them is 10mbps for 80% of the connected time as I read from some recent press release (you have to check with them personally for more accurate information).
But I do acknowledge that sometimes at the fringe of the coverage area, your phone will tend to jump between 3G and 4G.
*
yup, i tested with my iphone 7+ which is capable of LTE-A, and i check the LTE setting as well and it show CA enable.

for iphone LTE/GSM setting : *3001#12345#* press call

I think it should be the same as the Infinite 80..

I've heard something about the tethering difference compared to the Infinite 80 as well...
*
i bet there is no tethering limit since did not mention...
it will not fair if 100 and 80 are the same package but paying extra sweat.gif
