did u try with a prepaid sim first or friends’ digi sim prior to jumping ship?
*
ya, tested with my friend's digi which was ok , then i move to another apartment which just 150 meters from previous one. bangwall.gif bangwall.gif i dont want contract, so i took this i150.

celcom also, my previous place always 100-140mbps on my iphone(maybe 4g+), digi also always 30-40.
new place, celcom like 20++, digi 3-5mbps..
too bad my xiaomi redmi note5 takde 4g+, maybe tonight i try swap to my iphone and see.

if ok then perhaps go buy 4g+ router/modem or mifi. or terminate and masuk fiber bye.gif

lol, dont say 150m, within my room also, one corner H, the other 4G.

deswai la, luckily this is new number, didnt port in.

ps: anyone know any cheapest 4g+ modem/router/mifi for infinite?
i prefer mifi since i always travel. if go telen or philipine can just swap simcard.
i keep on looking at netgear ac790s which is cat6, but not sure support or not.

That 150 metres shift made a lot of difference. Probably the distance away or line of sight from the telco towers. You can ways try with a Huawei B618 since it has a powerful built in 4x4 antenna.

Nevertheless, if your building has fibre ready, best to go for Fibre Broadband as it is much for reliable and stable.

i keep on looking at b618, but its bulky..of course it much much better, no wonder it's called "bangsawan"..
i'm just looking at something really portable, and able to install external antenna when im home.

there's fiber at my place, but i just scared about contract.
and the maxisfiber nation looks good at 89/129

For portable MiFi, there is a choice between the Netgear M1 and Huawei e5786

1k vs 600. bye.gif or just b618 and keep using phone as hotspot. tough choice biggrin.gif

Look for second hand units not to burn a hole in your wallet. Again, B618 truly is the king of 4G LTE modems for Bangsawan. You kind of roughly know what you want already 🤣😂

true.
currently im using 2*98 celcom plan + i150 bye.gif
thinking to downgrade on of the celcom number to something else and use this i150 as main for data.
some places i went, like kota damansara, able to download like 5-10MB/sec on my phone.
currently doing uploading/downloading alot using my mobile.
but before buying any router, need to test if my place able to get 4g+ and whether the speed acceptable, if not no point, then terminate i150 and just get maxis fiber.

since i dont have cat11, or cat6 modem, or phone.

last night was checking the band around my place using my xiomi..too bad cant lock band.
band 3 gaves me 500-600kb/sec, while band 7 can go up to 2MB/sec. or speedtest around 15-20mbps. upload speed, however are much higher..(must be congestion). but i can see even tho it band 7, i could be connected to diff cell tower and have diff speed(still low btw).

looks like i gonna need to buy cat6 or cat11 modem soon.
why la salary every end of month..huhu
