The DWR-921 is a D-Link.

Anyway, yes, it will help as concrete is quite good at blocking signal.

Optimally you want to put your router at somewhere you can get the best signal but if that is not possible, your workaround is to use an external antenna with a long wire.

Can you recommend the antenna? I am getting the Digi 150 due to the no limit tethering... but i tested digi with Samsung Note 5 near window also not so good.. hoping the big antenna on the Dlink or TPlink will help absord like when I testing outside my house..

Please advice.. Yes, my house no Unifi,, need wait another year... cabling not yet reach...

No, I am considering to get this... I have to confirm that signal will be better with this big antennas.
if not wasted Rm400... bangwall.gif

This few days with my digi prepaid testing.. outside house can get 4G+.. inside houw 4G = 1bar and keep switching between 4G & H+... sienz... so.... scare wasted Rm400 ...

Please anyone using this broadband modem?? can advice if the signal reception is much better in-house??

router reception are better than hp. my hp only 2bar 3G inhouse cant see 4G at all. invest buy b310 to try even is not good.. but so far satisfy la... in modem can get 4bar 4G signal stable.

big antenna is useless.... sometimes no antenna is better than use the antenna. plug antenna will cause speed & coverage very sensitive.

it might cause speed drop if location/directly is incorrect. different location different scenario also..haha....

my self are not using any antenna. so far only 3~4bar 4G stable using modem. used b310 and current e5186-22a.

personally prefer modem/router that able to lock band 3/7/8. cause b3 is not 100% works most of the time....it also got it's own downtime....

I finally buy the TPLink MR200... and I am super happy with the signal reception. Putting at same location with my cellphone get 2~3bar and able to download at 4G no problem. With me cellphone direct jump back 3G and 4G-1Bar..

so the big 4G antenna does works... It does improve receiving strength... with the MR200, I am always connected to 4G.. happy....

Best location found... which is at the back of the house. setup my MR200 on windows facing behind the house can yeild max ~25mbps dl... happy. but living room ground floor suffer abit.. still can get max 10mbps...

super happy and I can say I recommend this type of big antenna 4G router if your house digi signal keep jumping 4g to 3G....
I tested only with prepaid... later I will go sign up the 150infinite. Cheers...

Also, I see you guys discussion on the setting to keep the signal at high speed? please advice if can set for the MR200?? thumbup.gif

I have the MR200 and the only 'signal setting' that I know is to set either 'only 3g' or 'only 4g' mode. Default is 'auto'.

Ok, thanks... then nothing to set other then setup wifi..
