i just got my E5186s-22a with huawei logo on it, yet to put in digi sim to test is out. shall i update firmware which firmware? 21.306 or 21.316?

i have few questions to ask;
1) do i need to upgrade firmware manually via webgui? current version is 21.302.01.00.00. my E5186s-22a is with huawei logo. If yes, should i download Bv7R2C0update_21306.01.00.00-original huawei.gz.bin or Bv7R2C0update_21.316.01.00.07.gz.bin?

2) i have changed google DNS and write to API using tool, how to check whether E5186s-22a is using google DNS or getting DNS from digi?

3) do i need to set Network mode to 4G in order to use phone which connected to E5186s-22a RJ11 port?

sorry...ask a lot questions..
