Hi, Planning to subscribe Digi Infinite. Want to ask how you guys get speeds up to 50+mbps with digi infinite. Must put the sim into a 4g modem? If use phone only I get 10-15mbps on speedtest only with the current digi prepaid internet. If change to Infinite will get faster speed? What internet speed difference can i expect switching from prepaid internet -> digi infinite & switch from phone -> 4g modem (assuming I just get a normal 4g modem & not CA one)

Digi speed is really depends on your area digi tower and it's different for each user. What is your expected speed?10~15 no good?

Digi prepaid and digi infinite are same.

For long term use, we put sim card into modem, as if hotspot use mobile device u might face few cons, device over heat, keep charging the hp, battery dead quick.

If your area/location no LTE-A, then can get a cat4 4G modem, if want for future use and budget allowed u can get a cat6 4G+ modem.

Thanks. well if buying a modem will mean i get 3x the speed why not rclxms.gif . So other than those mentioned cons, can say speed tethering with phone = speed with a 4g modem?

If i snap the 3-in-1 digi sim card into nano sim size then later fit back into the micro sim sized one should be no effect on using it in the e5186 / b525 router right?

If you take extra caution while handling it, it should be fine.

im using E-5186s-22a as my modem for infinite 150 plan. Thing is, I connect my phone to the modem and can make calls from that phone, but I can't receive any incoming phone calls. Connection is set on Auto. any ideas why?

Don't set the connection to Auto. Change it to 4G/LTE.

If I change to 4g/lte only then Im not able to make calls

Auto, 3G/4G auto, or 4G prefered is ok.

Depends on firmware u use, call function is not very stable.
