Just got digi infinite, very very horrible. 4G coverage is terrible, after getting an external antenna with full bars, website still cant load and ping times number in the seconds or timeouts.

Otherwise stuck on 3G with 2Mb/s and timeouts from time to time.

Tower congestion can be reduced by having more towers, this is what 4G is designed to do. I once talked to celcom years ago (inside) and they have hidden towers everywhere hence why their network is so good even at crappy times but im not seeing the same thing with digi.

Once fiber optics arrive i may ditch this. If as backup internet it is unreliable i might as well not have a mobile internet because the choice is monthly (which if you dont use the bandwidth is a waste of money) or prepaid which has an expiry on data for both celcom and maxis (worse for digi).

Everytime i load up celcom prepaid for data, i get 10GB of data free for 5GB weekload giving me about rm2 per GB and celcom's network is pretty good. With digi infinite despite it being infinite for rm 150 a month gives you at best 1Mb/s which is like the old streamyx days which means you wont even reach 100GB a month. Need to find a way to speed up TM to connect fiber optics to new buildings that are already on a street with fiber optics.

I've changed to other band 3, band 7, band 3+7 all http download speed were throttled. My monthly usage just below 170GB, I rare download, only doing Windows 10 updates, Firmware update, google play apps update, youtube, web site.

I've no idea why throttled, even I'm using postpaid 80 also same throttled.

my Area KL ....not listed as inside coverage....so cannot register for the Celcom Wireless Band.
then my Hometown Perak......listed as within coverage.....so able to register for the RM70 plan.

Guess what happen next;

Celcom Sim....
no coverage at my workplace Setapak.....so NO service as whether in Mifi or B618 (always red LED)
Only Celcom Xpax Kelentong got coverage as i have the prepaid sim.

Then:
at Home KL......Mifi show got service....but B618 somehow still show red LED.
Initially was capped to 1.5Mbps as shown using Mifi

few days back...i believe Celcom reset system as many user complaint about capped Video Walla
So now Mifi show got service and speed now average 10Mbps

To my dismal;
ChengBeng day last weekend at Perak
Celcom Wireless totally NO service at my hometown where supposely have coverage.

So go figure lo

Nonsense, Digi infinite and normal plan share the same tower.
If they trully are on different network, Digi infinite would be offered to certain place only, NOT EVERYWHERE OF MALAYSIA (just like CELCOM wireless broadband).
Even Digi broadband (internet only) is using the same tower, no difference for their internet network.

Plan to subscibe digi i150 to replace my screamyx.

And how about B310 performance, from speed test digi sim in phone, manage to get around 70mbps++
