My AC 790s restarts every minute when I use it without a battery. Any recommended cable and adapter? Or worse comes to worst, I will use with battery and if that exhausts my battery, I will buy a new battery again.

I got the same issue, new battery or charger doesnt fix it

Me 2, each time i tried speedtest. AC 790S will restart.

Any other successful user using the mifi without battery?

Can share your cable spec
*
I cant even run a speedtest on it, it will restart whenever there's device connected to it after bootup, and I cant boot it up without using external power. Such a horrible quality for a networking device, after this incident I will stick with Huawei E8372 as my area doesn't have LTE A.

Digi said my area is congested, still able to get more than 25mbps during peak hours (60% Signal)
For me, any ISP that's willing to provide a package that's more worthy than Streamyx 4mbps is a kudos

When I went to terminate Streamyx at TMpoint last month, they said my area wont have Unifi as fiber infrastructure needs permission from landlord when installing
So my area wont have any unifi service for maybe the next 20 years?

They even provide me a price cut on my 4mbps from RM140/month to RM38/month persuading me to stick with TM

As a user for more than 5 years paying 140 monthly and when you are already pissed for no upgrades inn ur area, and they dropped a bombshell price of 38
Feels like being treated as idiot using their service, first and last, not happening again

LOL, i'm also above 5 years streamyx user, may clarify how u deal with them till RM38 offered to you? This offer is to every loyal customer?
*
I complained about being a TM user for years and not getting any discount while one of my friend at neighboring taman got his upgrade from 4mbps to unifi 30 for RM100/month
Then show them the speed I can get with Digi while paying similar price, then the employee just suddently says if they give me a price cut from Rm140 to RM38 monthly will I still consider using TM...that's it rclxub.gif

Wow, I wonder how you managed to do that. My father still paying for 120+/month for 4mbps. No UniFi yet in his area  cry.gif

Just bring all of ur family members there and be sure each of them give a reason why they prefer Infinite 150 over Streamyx cool2.gif

RM 100 for UniFi 30 is very cheap, even cheaper than UniFi Lite. sweat.gif shocking.gif
*
Yep, so obviously their internet plan doesnt't worth more than RM140 bangwall.gif

Luckily I'm using Infinite 150 now while my sister continues using my UniFi 50 account relocated to her house, she is paying RM 179 as what I was paying earlier.
*
I'm using infinite now, not much to complain about other than random disconnect (rarely)
Next step is to get a Huawei router that can connect a phone on it

the RM 38 is for streamyx 384k/128k. I downgrade from 4 mbps @ RM 88. I dont think they can offer 4 mbps @ RM 38
*
I've ask them during termination and they do willing to give me RM38 for 4mbps package, one of my friend tried the same and he got RM50 for 4mbps. Seems to depends on who you meet at TMpoint.

I wont recommend buying from Taobao as the process of clamming warranty is a freaking nightmare. You can find the router on lelong for similar price

Give it a shot, paying 140 for 4mbps simply doesn't worth it,try to tease them if lowering the price you might consider keeping, 10/10 works.

Am I the only one still not satisfied with the Digi Infinite? it seems RM 150 everymonth for 900-1200 ms every day is very painful to bear and pay. Call and ask digi they say Ampang is on 4G+ but sadly congested, i ask then cant you guys do something about it like upgrade the server or anything? they advise me to play my game at midnight . what i got work after that... zz
*
If 4g+ is congested, you should try it on 4g, either band 3 or band 7
single band usually wont get congested

QUOTE(Anf1127 @ Sep 12 2017, 06:13 AM)
Its time to share my i150 plan experience.
In the beginning, i use it with samsung A7 2017 which mostly can get 4g+ at home and most of the time can get 10m+ dl speed.
After that i bought a huawei b525 and use with internal antenna, most of the time get 4g only and dl speed around 20m.
Until yesterday, i bought a Panorama mimo antenna and keep looking for sweet spot, sometime will get 4g sometime 4g+, peak hour can get dl speed 20m+ and non peak hour can get 20m+ to 40m+.
Will keep looking for sweet spot if free and update in post.
*
That's a pretty big improvement, I got around 3-4 outta 5 bars of signal indoor
not sure if I should get an antenna as I tried running speedtest at playground one block away can get more than 40 mbps on 4g only.

I don't think you can choose band on that router, get a Huawei router next time
better reception and band support.

bought 3 e5186 22a from taobao..

2nd and 3rd one lemon... need to send back is the most troublesome part.. 2 modem cost about RM160 pos laju ... Depends on luck.. So it's really not recommended to buy from taobao.
*
Yep,I bought a Netgear 790s from Taobao and it died within a month, seller refused to compensate my international shipping fee...so I just use it as a paperweight and buy a Huawei E8372 for around 150,cheaper and works better.

Does it support digi 4G+?
*
Netgear 790s do support 4g+, but the quality of it is sh*t
Huawei E8372 doesn't, but it sticks to signal better than Netgear most of the time
cheaper too.

QUOTE(ubaied93 @ Sep 12 2017, 08:22 PM)
what model should i look for? dont want spend too much. This digi im using alone because family refuse upgrade our unifi even though all their children already working and can pay. As long as better than the TPlink.
*
If you got 4g+ in your area and prefer portable, go for LTE-A (4G+) capable mifi (Huawei E5786 RM650+-), if it's congested or LTE only I suggest Huawei E8372 (Rm140+-) in picture bellow
LTE-A router won't be cheap, just dont go for Netgear as it doens't have service center in Malaysia, once rosak consider mati bangwall.gif
For bigger router I will only recommend Huawei E5186, RM800+ but it's the best you can buy for now.

i bought this antenna from lelong seller

https://www.lelong.com.my/antenna-huawei-b6...7-01-Sale-I.htm
yeah before this im using huawei e5577 can get that speed also without external antenna

then upgrade to this b310 but can only get like 50-70mbps

then i buy the antenna and plug it in wallaaa 90-100mbps  rclxm9.gif

i attach the speed this morning
*
I usually got 3/5 signals (In and outdoor)with no more than 50mbps down, so attaching an antenna really can gain that much of speed?

i think it's depend on your location signal and population

if it was congested adding antenna would just making ur signal better but the speed might not be faster (congested)  hmm.gif
*
My area isn't congested now, guess I could give it a shot as antenna isn't expensive.
Stil, should I try the big YAGI outdoor antenna or the square indoor ones?

RM0: Site:1432A Dear Sir/Madam, the reason for the Internet slowness even when you're on LTE is due to congestion and high access from other users at the same time where you were. Digi will be taking the necessary steps to resolve this congestion issue as soon as possible. Your kind patience and understanding would be most appreciated.

Anyone reported network slow problem and get the confirmation? how long does digi takes to fix/upgrade the network?
Ampang area, same as few post above, very slow at prime time 7pm - 12am.
*
For me it took them 2 months to solve this issue, but I gained a sh*t tons of speed improvement after that, from 10mbps to 45mbps.
