QUOTE(Louispoh1128 @ Jan 28 2018, 01:44 PM) So after those disappointing days with TM Streamyx 4 Mbps , I'm going to change to Digi Infinite 150 , and I need help to pick which modem / router is the best for my use case . My home is a apartment unit at Persiaran Sri Pinang , as the screenshot of this coverage map , it's exactly at the bubble pointer. Which router should I get , as it's replacing my streamyx as a *home wifi* use case, I have a home phone that I want to use with the unlimited calls of the plan. [attachmentid=9552075] Depends on your budget. You can't go wrong with Huawei modems or you can try the more expensive Netgear ones.

QUOTE(zamnrul @ Jan 28 2018, 05:37 PM) Why you can get 100mbps..i also live in kl..but the internet so slow like snails It depends on your area coverage and the type of building you reside in Bro. You should check and if you are within area coverage, make a report with DiGi to complain, if no action taken than make a report to SKMM. Otherwise, last resort is to switch carrier to a different telco. All the best and hope DiGi works out for you buddy.

QUOTE(zamnrul @ Jan 28 2018, 08:38 PM) Actually tried call digi but still failed.i already complaint to SKMM but nothing happen.so quiet since 15 jan 2018. Then digi worst than celcom for customer services i think.at least after complaint to SKMM celcom will call you but not with DIGI Trying chatting with DiGi's customer service representative on their live chat and save the chat log. You can than attach the screen shots of your chat log together with your complain to SKMM as proof of black and white.

QUOTE(Louispoh1128 @ Jan 29 2018, 01:10 PM) So I think for now is that I should buy a prepaid sim to try the speed of the connection , what prepaid sim card does digi offers? And for the router I think I'm just getting the Huawei E5186 4G Cat6 , because the b525 is really expensive and the speed drops a lot when receiving or making calls. There's this website that sells the Huawei E5186 for RM 373.19 . Not sure if it's trusted or not. Cheap Huawei E5186Watch out for the price as the model you want to get is the Huawei E5186-22a. The cheapest I have seen in the market cost close to RM500+. Good luck finding the best deal for it.

QUOTE(Louispoh1128 @ Jan 29 2018, 01:18 PM) Do you identify the models by the product description , or it has a visible difference? Are the 61a not compatible with digi's coverage? It is easily identified by the model number in the full product descriptions. 61a is not compatible for use with the spectrum bands in Malaysia.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jan 31 2018, 11:18 PM) Honestly, I have never encountered network drop from 4G to H or 3G when it's raining after years of using Digi. Both on my phone and router. +1 Same here. Never had or experienced this issue before all these years using DiGi.

QUOTE(Ngto @ Feb 1 2018, 10:15 AM) Anyone here using infinite 100? This is the beginning of my 2nd mth. When I check Digi app, there is stated unbilled amount 110/-. Isn't Digi 100/- supposed to be 100/- p.m? What's the extra 10/- for? GST should be RM 6, not sure where the extra RM 4 came from but I am guessing maybe prorated charges.

QUOTE(Rudd @ Feb 1 2018, 12:51 PM) I read somewhere, we can "block" bill cycle for digi postpaid. (Not sure what it's really called) Anyone have an idea? What does it mean by "block" bill cycle? I thought our bill cycle is fixed based on the date we start our service with the carrier.

QUOTE(Ngto @ Feb 1 2018, 09:14 PM) Unless you get the right usb router with the right FW to connect to, without being detected. Good lord. I never thought this would be possible. Which means they would not deduct our tethering usage, correct me if I am wrong.

QUOTE(#Victor @ Feb 2 2018, 11:49 AM) With 1TB quota for high speed usage which never enclosed in their T&C which nothing to worry with that insane usage. Actually I do because I have a ton load of backups which I am uploading from my NAS to cloud storage. But once I am done, usage will be back to minimal.
