Dear all,
i have few questions to ask;
1) do i need to upgrade firmware manually via webgui? current version is 21.302.01.00.00. my E5186s-22a is with huawei logo. If yes, should i download Bv7R2C0update_21306.01.00.00-original huawei.gz.bin or Bv7R2C0update_21.316.01.00.07.gz.bin?

2) i have changed google DNS and write to API using tool, how to check whether E5186s-22a is using google DNS or getting DNS from digi?

3) do i need to set Network mode to 4G in order to use phone which connected to E5186s-22a RJ11 port?

sorry...ask a lot questions.. grin.gif [attachmentid=8995471][attachmentid=8995491][attachmentid=8995492][attachmentid=8995511]

2. which antenna socket to select if using B310S-22, TS9 or CRC9?

QUOTE(HolySatan @ May 9 2017, 09:02 AM)
change default e5186 dns

api/dhcp/settings
  <DnsStatus>0</DnsStatus>
  <PrimaryDns>8.8.8.8</PrimaryDns>
  <SecondaryDns>8.8.4.4</SecondaryDns>

0 - manual DNS
1 - auto from ISP

You should set network mode to auto, as when you call, the network would change from 4G to 3G.

Is there any catch which digi is not telling us?

Anyone tried playing steam games with this plan? How does it perform especially multiplayer games.

Any other problems with streaming movies on laptop?

Thank u in advance smile.gif

Ps: im not a heavy user so i just plan to use hotspot using my j7 samsung

I've been using it for almost a month now - Nexus 6P as a mobile hotspot.
Here is my overall feedback.

I'm a regular Overwatch player. The ping is at around 40-60 with no spike and delay when i'm playing it at Old Klang Road. No issue with Dota as well as it runs with decent ping like OW. (although i have stopped playing it)
No issues streaming on Youtube and Twitch either.

However, the network got worse when i'm at Bandar Utama - network is congested in that area. So, i need to find a good fengshui in my house to position my phone in order to get good speed/ping.

Your mileage may vary depending on your area and my experience is solely based on mobile tethering.

No catch. Unless you download more than 1TB then speed will be capped at 5Mbps until bill cycle refreshes.

Not a gamer, cannot answer.

No issue with streaming. I stream YouTube on laptop and movies and other stuff using my Android box.

Oh ya, it doesn't support P2P.

Been having connection trouble... for like 3 weeks already..
Connection got so bad... especially after 6pm...

Decided to call Digi...
Their response was... Digi having some sort of maintenance from Klang to Shah Alam...
starting from 1/7 till 16/8
A lot of times i'm only getting 1-2mbps at best... while other time.. fluctuates..

And they decided to do maintenance just after i upgrade to 150 .... *sigh*

BTW... 1 km from my home... i'm getting 30-60 mbps most of the time...

External antenna definitely help to improve signal. I just got my b315 and the speed was merely 7-8mbps (but can get 15mbps if the sim used on my phone).

With external antenna now i can get close to 40mbps speed using b315. Happy with it.

Hi. May I know what particular model for B315 that is compatible with digi i150? B315-852 or B315-936? Thank you
