There are many ways to download/stream video without P2P.
In fact, i seldom used P2P that's why i switch TM to digi.

If it happen to many devices, i suspect it is something auto OTA update brick it.
Most probably the seller get the stock from some carriers locked devices, they unlock it with some special firmware. After update the unlock is gone.
It is same case like older sierra aircard cannot format or flash firmware.

For sure, Digi has more advantages than Umobile (except RM50 more expensive).

Of course main reasons i consider Umobile because it is cheaper + it still suit my needs.

And the most important factor, i consider to give up Digi because their speed is not stable as half year ago. Off peak hour from 100M drop until 60M, and peak hour from 35M to 6-15M.

If they cannot keep the speed stable at 15M, i will consider to leave because it is no longer attractive for me. RM150 for 6M is a bit expensive.

I guess digi is time to stop selling infinite plan.

Not sure why, all my devices can full speed (70m+) but my lappy never above 30m now. (My lappy is my main downloader others are just normal surfing).

For those who has B3 & B7, but rarely connected as LTE-A, one of the band is congested.
My area is facing this issue, i will never connect to LTE-A during peak hour.
Even using the B618.

Then maybe the setting of my area is cacat one.
I am never able to use LTE-A during peak hour.
Manually connect B7 could get 10m while B3 can get up to 60m.

I am quite confirm with it.
I found someway to bypass it, and the result is positive.
I can full speed with my laptop now.
I will do more testing with it.

Well, if the package priced at RM30~50, i agree it is a special plan offer to poorer.

But if it still priced at RM100~, and removed IPTV, it seems plan/price discrimination for me.

Same like we have no option to remove phone call/IPTV, even worst forced to sign RM160 streamyx because no coverage/port. And i guess not much peoples enjoy the benefit, because unifi coverage usually targeted to higher/better residential area.

Just revise the streamyx price according to unifi price per MB, much more peoples benefit on it, and ready infra to serve everyone.

This is the reason why i forced to switch to digi infinite.

I agree streamyx is more expensive to maintain, but since it is already there, i believe there is no more cost to develop it. Some more 10+ years infra/hardware, already ROI. And i don't think maintenance needed for weeks or months. Probably just replace when spoil only. And those phasing out area spare part probably can reuse for replacement.

For now, i think they should revise streamyx price, at the same time, upgrade unifi. It is more than enough to cover everyone. Target b40 segment more like a marketing gimmick, maybe just benefit less than 5% peoples filter out existing customers + lack of coverage/port.
