If network admin has well setup, it will auto assign to best quality and signal strength. In short it will choose the best line. Before 15mhz, it mostly connect to B7 but lately it connect to B3 for my case.

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Sep 2 2017, 07:38 AM) Normally downloading movie is through p2p. Special case is out of norm and unless we are discussing how to circumvent block by DiGi , I suggest we don't go through that path. "Normally".There are many ways to download/stream video without P2P. In fact, i seldom used P2P that's why i switch TM to digi. |

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Sep 2 2017, 09:59 AM) Yes that is what majority people do anyway. The other is direct download from seed box and it's variant. So it's only 2 way. P2P and direct download that I know. If you know others, do teach me. There are at least another 2 ways to download (which i know), but this is something should not discuss here (also don't PM me).The main reason I reply your topic is, because i agree the others said that, you are misleading. Digi is never controlling our download contents, except P2P. In fact, Malaysia gov didn't control our download contents too, except the few very "famous" websites. |

Hotspot Pass is tethering addon for i80 & i100 only.
It doesn't valid and apply on i150. i150 is native tethering which has no restrictions. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 13 2017, 08:11 PM) Like seriously? That shouldn't be the case. No such thing.Since I'm using alone, max is only 5 devices connected to my E5186, so far still OK. Maybe I should try more than 5 devices. Clearly stated that only apply to i80 & hotspot pass. Other usage limitations on Unlimited Internet is as follows:- i. Peer to peer downloads is capped at 64kbps. ii. Digi Postpaid 80 Infinite does not include tethering service. If the customer needs to share Mobile Internet through tethering, the customer needs to purchase Digi’s Hotspot Pass and a maximum of five (5) devices can be tethered simultaneously. |

QUOTE(pia7295 @ Sep 24 2017, 08:47 PM) This device has quality issue. If it happen to many devices, i suspect it is something auto OTA update brick it.happen to many units already. whoever use this device. it won't last long. better get backup modem just in case it gone. Most probably the seller get the stock from some carriers locked devices, they unlock it with some special firmware. After update the unlock is gone. It is same case like older sierra aircard cannot format or flash firmware. |

Thinking to switch to U99 from i150, since my tethering is lower than 30GB.
A bit dilemma for both pros and cons >.< |

QUOTE(Xaser_3 @ Nov 30 2017, 09:18 AM) Just do it Bro, if your area is within coverage area. It would be the best decision you ever made and only wished why you didn't make the switch sooner. For sure, Digi has more advantages than Umobile (except RM50 more expensive).Of course main reasons i consider Umobile because it is cheaper + it still suit my needs. And the most important factor, i consider to give up Digi because their speed is not stable as half year ago. Off peak hour from 100M drop until 60M, and peak hour from 35M to 6-15M. If they cannot keep the speed stable at 15M, i will consider to leave because it is no longer attractive for me. RM150 for 6M is a bit expensive. I guess digi is time to stop selling infinite plan. |

For those who has B3 & B7, but rarely connected as LTE-A, one of the band is congested.
My area is facing this issue, i will never connect to LTE-A during peak hour. Even using the B618. |

QUOTE(OzzyOzz @ Apr 19 2018, 09:14 PM) sam'e like me, 'when connected to pc either by LAN or by wifi dongle, certain time normally peak hour/public holiday) the speed like been throttled, bu[t speed on phone connected to the same network full speed. I think something to do with MAC address. digi not encouraged consumer to use with pc. after 12 am the speed came back normal. I am quite confirm with it.I found someway to bypass it, and the result is positive. I can full speed with my laptop now. I will do more testing with it. |

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Jul 3 2018, 03:06 PM) b40 really need help, i think it is justifiable. if u earning 10k above u still expect government to help u? well i dont. Well, if the package priced at RM30~50, i agree it is a special plan offer to poorer. But if it still priced at RM100~, and removed IPTV, it seems plan/price discrimination for me. Same like we have no option to remove phone call/IPTV, even worst forced to sign RM160 streamyx because no coverage/port. And i guess not much peoples enjoy the benefit, because unifi coverage usually targeted to higher/better residential area. Just revise the streamyx price according to unifi price per MB, much more peoples benefit on it, and ready infra to serve everyone. This is the reason why i forced to switch to digi infinite. |

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Jul 4 2018, 08:43 AM) i believe streamyx infra, equipment etc is like more to maintain, thats why the higher cost. Not telco major guy so i dont know la.. but what i know is the copper line is much much more expensive then fiber line. I agree streamyx is more expensive to maintain, but since it is already there, i believe there is no more cost to develop it. Some more 10+ years infra/hardware, already ROI. And i don't think maintenance needed for weeks or months. Probably just replace when spoil only. And those phasing out area spare part probably can reuse for replacement. For now, i think they should revise streamyx price, at the same time, upgrade unifi. It is more than enough to cover everyone. Target b40 segment more like a marketing gimmick, maybe just benefit less than 5% peoples filter out existing customers + lack of coverage/port. |
