Tp- link RE405 useless. Use for my 5ghz extension,source only 3 bars to my sitting position, repeater in between get 4-5 bars, at my sitting position but speed no diff from direct original source .

Some reviews said very powerful, but I am not impressed.

Cost nearly rm300/- . Used only 2 weeks. Sell to you RM 200/- (rm90 cheaper) 😄. 3 years warranty from TP- Link.

There's only about 1 week left till 31 Dec 2017(or so Digi say) to subscribe to Infinite 150.

I still can't decide. I see many complaints about congestion and some people can't even get 1 mbps during peak. They also say using Prepaid to test get diff results, much faster, so it seem Prepaid speed and Postpaid (congested) speed is different.

So what say you, Digi users here. Can give some feedback, help me decide. Tell me where your location and what speed at peak hours when using Infinite 150.

great . No issues then.

Like I said some people test, prepaid speed faster than Postpaid Unlimited Infinite 150. That's my whole point asking for feedback here.

You didn't lock bands?

Puchong. I already tested prepaid, peak just above 10mbps. I am asking about Postpaid speed because I worried it might be less than Prepaid speed.

Pay 2 mths in advance, if not good, rugi.

Should be able to get the unused mth back, if cancel in first mth, but will have to wait very long time for them to return the money.

I have purchased infinite 100 online (change from prepaid to postpaid) without requesting new Sim.

May I know how long it will take for my new plan to activate?

They work extra hard in fact, put there "Extended".

I have 2 pcs 790S.

1 is Telstra unit without your lock band options.

2nd unit also Telstra which I bought with the band lock option already done for me.

I was surprised that the 2 unit , whatever bands I locked or Auto , performed much worse than the 1st unit which was set to Auto only. The unmodified 1st unit was easily 3 times faster than the modified 2nd unit using Maxis prepaid. With Digi Prepaid it was twice the speed.

After trying various things to get the same performance , without success, I decided to factory reset to remove the band lock modifications, and now both units perform similarly.

I don't know why adding the band lock options crippled the 2nd unit.

You still don't understand what my post was about.

Any chance got some latest fw available somewhere that can be flashed on the 790s? .Want to give it a try.
