after the firmware update , the E5186 router no longer shown on my wifi.
from the router itself , I can see the LED on the wifi is light on.
what is missing?

after plugin the LAN , I don't find anything I can login to the router.

I have done many time re-reflashing. everything seem the same.
I contacted the seller , they ask me to perform factory reset, then I realise that factory reset also no longer work. I inset the sim card, there is no signal also on the router.
seller agree I return , they will exchange another unit. I don't really know whether its the unit defect by itself, or I have perform the firmware update, the router become like this.
actually before I do anything on the flashing, I did login into the router once and able to read device information. and the software version before flashing is 21.297.01.01.186

How to use with this?  Buy a modem and insert tghe sim card?  Then can start sharing to phone,  pc?  Sorry noob here

Hello everyone,  wanna ask opinion on my current situation...

Currently I just moved with a couple of housemates at a place that does not have unifi and optic fibre internet that can provide unlimited data. All of us are high data users (mainly gaming,  youtube, movie and etc), so we were so sad that unifi isn't covered at our place. The best is just 2mbps streamyx 😢

Eventually we were desperate for Internet and we subscribed to some Maxis 65gb broadband plan and eventually we realized that 65gb was not enough for us and we needed unlimited data.

One of my friend recommend me using digi infinite 150. Another friend was skeptical about it but based on some reviews, it seems like it isn't bad. My question is...

1. Can digi infinite 150 be used as a modem for high data users at home like unifi is?

2. If so, is it better if we used a modem as hotspot or using another phone?

Another question, can i150 still usable if the coverage at our place 3g instead of 4g? I once ask a customer service and they said my place 4gb but checking on9 different said 3g only?

Ouh alright. My neighbour in front of my house said he using digi can get 4G. So, hopefully the line is stable here.

my new number i happy happy used two months, straight pop into modem and today my second bill only i realized i get charged for two months by god know what bangla service, bloody hell. i cant even remember my number well.
upon checking i realized i received tons of spam sms...what the hell...

I had this problem too and stopped the service too. It's voice mail and some Bangla service.
You can stop it but I forgot the SMS code, else you can call CS, CS was the one taught me to do it.
I also called to disable voice mail service as well.

If you want, wait till I go back home tonight to share with you what I sent to stop this damned thing.

Weird, at my area LTE struggles to reach 5mbps all time and the signal is barely 1 bar...while using H+ I can get 25mbps...WTH?

Bangla voice mail service, I have no idea what's that either.
I told Digi, I wasn't too happy because rightfully a recycled no. should have everything reset before releasing to new users. Anyway, I always monitor my bill, so I had to pay RM 1.00 for that damned service and RM 0.15 to stop it. I remember only RM 1.15 for my case and at the same time asked CS to disable my voice mail. Phew.

Before that, there were Bangla tried calling to the no. but because I don't fix a cordless phone and it is in my router, it didn't go through and that's how everything was triggered.

you can pickup the weak 4g or no 4g signal by using good outdoor modem/antenna. a friend of mine use this
