i think we all using private ip la.. public ip is wat we want for gaming. if port forward also no use if ur ip is private. what we need is dynamic public ip, but what we have now is dynamic private ip..

For CCTV, you will need to use VPN.

p2p enable cctv we can use them without vpn

I just found out why DNS settings don't work on my PC. It's because my pc switched to ipv6 when connected to B618. Just disable IPv6 or configure DNS in IPv6 (I've never done that)

I was using Samsung Note 3 with Network Signal Guru to lock band as a hotspot previously. Normally i get 30mbps with Note 3 but with AC810s i get 50-60 mbps easily. I even get 70-80mbps after midnight with AC810s

i got this speed from huawei ancient modem e398 connected to ac68u. which is better than my note 8 speed. I tried check at *#0011# , I saw CA is added, means my area i can get CA? but dunno y my phone speed is suck lol. not sure how much higher can i get if i buy a CA modem..

ohh.. becos maxis also i got 4g+.. but if like that means actually no significant diff the speed e398 non CA and my note 8 lol.. probably just stick with current setup to save money but aircard 810s seems like a decent stuff if price at rm250.. cos can bring around and more powerful antenna compare to phone.

i see, so it is like 2 months trial lol.. i just go tmpoint wan cancel, but did not realize this fuking tm streamyx line is 2 yrs contract. DAMN! still got 1 more month to go. i tot normally streamyx is 1yr contract only becos this plan is nothing special..

last night i try the line sometimes drop until 1mbps.. now thinking dunno should get huawei b618 or netgear aircard 810s. i am liking 810s for the portability tho.

ok.. becos i am worried if 810s speed wont be much improvement.. if b618 maybe still can lock band and maybe get better speed. but i believe any ways both will be an improvement on my ancient e398 modem right haha.

like 5mbps in speedtest but actually 70mbps in download speed?

Probably server tested on speedtest is busy/ to far and the file that you downloading is hosted in closer location and the server traffic is minimal, hence you're getting faster download completion. eg. kissanime servers are busy most the time, even you have faster connection won't mean the video will not buffer on you.
70Mbps by factor of 8bit (use in file storage) = 8.75 MB/s transfer rate.
