I didn't try flashing to other firmware. Will it help? If yes I really want to try. Let me search this thread see can find the member with this issue and how it get solved.

I was thinking to send it back to China taobao , checked with DHL my goodness shipment is rm300. If I want to send back which shipment company will fellow members here recommend?

Looks like my problem resurfaced again. The 2.4GHz band is cranky but the 5GHz band works fine. Anybody with the same modem encountered this problem?
*
Hi, I'm having exactly the same problem. Is your issues resolved? If yes can guide me through?

well the option is try to flash to other firmware, must less hassle than send back to seller.

try check price via EMS or Flexipack

i'm so confuse why would they throttle me on pc but not on mobile ( said hotspot speed will be unlimited for i150)

i didn't abuse data more than 600gb per month ( usually around 300gb / max was like 500gb+- in 1 month)

feeling kinda cheated atm cry.gif

Randomly picked by Digi, not sure why and you are not alone. Some have reported before in this thread, the only thing is you complain to Digi and if they don't entertain then report to MCMC.

This is my sister house. I never have problem with Digi internet speed, just a little bit slower now, maybe my location starting congested. I'm staying at subang btw.

Edited: just read you're tethering to your pc. Maybe wireless connection problem. Do you try using 5ghz?

I believe it has nothing to do with whether it's 2.4GHz or 5GHz, it's quite common. I did help you all to complain to my Digi contacts before but they need the users to complain as I am not affected.

They can't use P2P and gotta use VPN to unblock it, that said isn't that the purpose of VPN? It will hide your IP and rightfully Digi shouldn't know.
I'm not sure because I don't use P2P but I do use VPN to watch some YouTube videos which are blocked with our country's IP address. laugh.gif

Torrent still create large number of packet/session even using vpn, the different only it's encrypted. This kind of activity still killing the network. If detected by for example enterprise firewall, they could rate limit the user packet/session. smile.gif

They already limit torrent speed to 64kbps using the same way.

I speedtest every 2 days, B310 is very hard to get 40m. Mr200 can easily get 50m at least. no matter afternoon or night.
*
the mr200 external antenna is quite strong. have you take it out and put to the b310. my friend test it on e5186 and it performed better
