WOw, if no drop to 3g i really can potong the TM Phone line.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 10 2018, 05:40 PM)
I believe so. Truth to be told, I haven't tried VoLTE myself though my SIM is enabled.
At least, it will prevent connection to drop to 3G.

nice, tempt to get b618 like this lar..haha

Yes, confirmed VOLTE is working with 65d thumbsup.gif
While on call, speedtest still maintain at 30-40Mbps. Nice.
Between 22a & 65d, i dont see any significant speed difference except 65d having the VOLTE enabled.

I have 2 i150 lines. 1 in modem and 1 on my phone.
My modem (B618) speed test always average between 20-30Mbpds during peak and >40Mbps during other time.
However, my phone (S8+) speed test only average at 10Mbps at my house (Batu Maung Penang) but while in Kulim office I can get average 120Mbps (during daytime)
Is this normal? Just curious smile.gif.

pretty normal i would say, your s8 cant choose what band, 10Mb perhaps band 8. while 120Mbps 2 ca b3&7.
*
QUOTE(kaiserreich @ Apr 12 2018, 10:36 PM)
Yes. Make sense. CPE antenna is stronger than internal phone antenna.
Kulim industrial area should be less congested than populated areas like Batu Maung.

I think if you drive into the middle of FIZ industrial area, such as the telco tower next to Motorola, you should be able to get pretty decent speeds with your S8+

thank you, guys. appreciate your responses thumbup.gif notworthy.gif

yeah if u come gelugor area, it is the same around usm here.. complain to digi cs is pretty useless, even to cfm, or skmm/mcmc
*
Unfortunately TM is not expending their fibre coverage (especially Gelugor, Jelutong, Bayan Baru, Batu Maung and mostly all old buildings including landed properties) and coming up with all the wireless bullshit yet they promo that they have 110% fibre coverage entire Malaysia.

I don't think there's any sort of material claim that they had 110% coverage. Would you mind to show it here?
*
Haha... no need to show... i know how they promote but upon applying no service.

Guys... is it possible to terminate i150 less than 2months? Will the deposit be refunded?

B618 can get very good speed but on my S8+ very lousy. But at some places i can get 100Mbps on S8+.

Read here: https://community.digi.com.my/t5/Postpaid/D...paid_no-variant
It will be refunded in next statement.

My monthly postpaid bill falls in June 2018 but my phone usage crosses over from May 2018. How will the 0% GST impact me? Will the 6% GST be pro-rated or do I get a full refund?

For new and existing customers who signed up before 1 June 2018 with a crossover billing between May and June 2018, GST will be charged on the monthly fee as well as other credit and charges. The 6% GST amount charged according to the number of days of subscription from 1 June 2018 will be refunded in the next bill statement.

Thanks for the explaination. Appreciate it.

You get to enjoy Unlimited voice calls to both on-net and off-net numbers i.e. all mobile calls to Digi or other mobile operators including fixed lines (excludes video calls, special numbers and toll-free 1-300 number calls). The Unlimited calls are applicable for domestic usage only i.e. within Malaysia network.
*
1-300 is not toll-free numbers. It is local numbers. Only 1-800 are toll-free numbers.

Currently considering to port over to maxis one prime... fiber at parent house, 2 lines, 1 for my mobile and 1 for home BB. Total damage rm375/mth.
But is maxis really that good??

Maxis LTE is really good hence the premium price but no more unlimited package right?

Fiber is different case, they are renting infrastructure from TM and if any major you will still need to wait for TM to fix for you. Hence, fiber not so recommended to go for Maxis albeit slightly cheaper than UniFi but UniFi will have Turbo plan soon so it's still the eventual winner for home fiber.
*
The home fibre comes with unlimited data but the mobile lines come with 300GB quota with video streaming reduced to 480p once quota finished (from T&C). Quite tempting considering digi is getting congested by day.

Home fiber is expected because TM doesn't impose quota too.

Well, if 300GB is sufficient for you, you can consider actually. Quite a good offer. For myself, I use less than 100GB per month on Infinite 150.
*
Yup me too, once in a blue moon may exceed the quota. Also if not mistaken we can do port forwarding on maxis too right? Just curious. Anyway, thanks for the feesback and sorry for hijacking the tered. Still a i150 user tho smile.gif.

Talk about irony. In normal cases, even from own experience, usually Maxis is the one with faster speeds and more stable. But recently, DiGi improved a lot in my personal experience and their pricing gives bang for buck.
*
Yup, cant agree more. Digi also has VoLTE compared to maxis but the OnePrime package is quite temptiong drool.gif
