QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 1 2017, 12:38 AM) Randomly picked by Digi, not sure why and you are not alone. Some have reported before in this thread, the only thing is you complain to Digi and if they don't entertain then report to MCMC. Yeah it's sucks and i already did a report to Digi still in investigation..if nothing change i will have to report to MCMCQUOTE(budi1413 @ Oct 1 2017, 12:41 AM) This is my sister house. I never have problem with Digi internet speed, just a little bit slower now, maybe my location starting congested. I'm staying at subang btw. On pc i use Lan connection. I did use wifi over mobile and i got full speed but on lan i got 5-10mbps capped. Tested over and over still sameEdited: just read you're tethering to your pc. Maybe wireless connection problem. Do you try using 5ghz? QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 1 2017, 12:50 AM) I believe it has nothing to do with whether it's 2.4GHz or 5GHz, it's quite common. I did help you all to complain to my Digi contacts before but they need the users to complain as I am not affected. Yeah i did my complaint to them. Hope they did resolved this issue.QUOTE(budi1413 @ Oct 1 2017, 01:03 AM) Im also not affected. Average using 250GB per month. I never download anything via torrent tbh. Just use to surf and watch youtube and gaming on steamJust wondering, is everyone that capped is all downloading torrent (via vpn)? Because i'm not. IIRC you're not also. |

QUOTE(kernel123 @ Oct 1 2017, 03:44 PM) shit. going back to seremban hoping to get better speed. end up getting 8Mbps down,30Mbps up. shit digi. wanna report to them via online chat also cant busy haih i think digi is throttling speed based on tower basis. lesser tower, more people connected thus traffic shaping to digi infinite user. digi did count the data usage per tower.. in melaka is better. 30Mbps down, 30Mbps up. gonna fire their customer service via call every day till they uncap the speed at the tower to my number |

QUOTE(kernel123 @ Oct 1 2017, 04:10 PM) lets fire them thru call. lots of infinite 150 user speed improved after they fire kaw2 customer service thru call. all we need is patience to call them everyday. haha my problem is that they are capping speed to my PC only for 5-10mbps...on mobile via hotspot can get full speed 80-100mbps. i didn't even use so much data roughly for 1 month i use like 300-500gb |

i guess i got my conclusion on my side for the speed throttling
1. I use the simcard in my router B310s-22 for testing which being connected to PC via lan cable. 2. Speed via lan cable / wifi for pc will be capped under 10Mbps 3. Tested via my phone wifi can get full speed up to 70mbps 4. Tested my sim inside a mifi ( which i connected via usb to PC ) got full speed 90-100mbps Conclude that digi is throttling the speed for PC via mac Address ( if using mifi it cant detect that im using pc since im using my mifi mac address). This is kinda sad for me since it doesn't happen till last 2 week. So wanna ask you guys should i report this to MCMC ( regarding the unlimited speed on hotspot ). They clearly did this on purpose which i didn't violated their tnc for overuse for 999GB and p2p downloading. |

QUOTE(mastermindsos @ Oct 3 2017, 09:30 AM) Hold on, don't judge too fast. I did try bro..using my b310 connected to pc can only get 1.5Mb/s using my phone 7-8Mb/s..not sure if digi problem or they capped user who are on PC. Using mifi directly to pc via usb can get full speed..I am having the same problem as you. Whenever I used my pc to test speed, my download speed most of the time showed upto 10Mbps. However, on my mobile can reach upto 20Mbps. It seems, on my pc I always got connected to "myKris" server something like that. And this server gave me 10Mbps on pc, no such limit when the same server is tested on my mobile. When I used Maxis server or other server, I got 20Mbps on pc. Weird, but this is my finding. Even though "myKris" server showed 10Mbps download on my pc, I can still download file upto 2.5MBps. Try download a dummy file from here. Can you try? --Edit-- This is what I found on myKris website. Not sure if this is related. ![]() |

Guys i have been testing digi 4g band here at my place. There is 2 band here 3 and 7 which i can only use band 3 atm. When i lock at band 7 it detect the signal from the tower but i can't seem to connect to it.
Been using network signal guru. Does digi have the tower ready but not activate it yet or they just want the user to use band 3. It's really congested here at my place during 8pm till 1am. This post has been edited by finalmakers: Feb 25 2018, 01:15 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |
