it happen since 21th January after i come back from holidays in Sekinchan, Genting and Ipoh,. all those three places digi doing superb,.. especially in genting highland digi in first world hotel rooms always no signal become 4 bar signal consistent at 30~33Mbps,..

after i came back, my area suddenly become like this
*
seem like digi doing something with your local tower during your holiday. probally added new slow tower ? whatever you did as long as connect this tower will get the same result

nope. according to his previous post, he said he said he unable to lock into the usual tower that he used to get 100Mbps..and when he walks around penang town he also unable to lock to uncongested band 3 tower and only lock into band 7 which only he able to get 55Mbps.

seems like digi purposely ban him from locking him into fast/uncongested tower at his house. and redirect to congested tower. as result, he only able to get 5Mbps..
*
to test out this theory, cuah need use digi sim card and device not link with his name. even better borrow the same i150 plan and same device.
and dont insert cuah sim card with this device.

i think Digi only call the number which is reported...
you should have forward call to that alternatif Digi number since the SIM in modem...sure give busy tone

putting remark to call other number doesn't mean Digi CS have to call that line lo.
you can say they lazy but Digi follow procedure mah.

*
yeah call forward is a good idea. it simple and free.
*#21# -check status
##21# -cancel forwarding number

you can buy infinite plan anywhere as long  as you have a device with internet connection and internet browser

to terminate, you must go to digi center

what kind of logic is this

and nearest digi center from my town is about 1 hour drive (tampin -> melaka)

well played digi

after i terminate this i will boikot digi

previously edi boiket maxis, now 1 more to boikot
*
another way to terminate postpaid plan is mnp online with dealer.

It depends if they deem you as being naughty or nice. Just kidding, it can happen to anyone at random. Don't think they profile their customers and adjust their lines. That would be madness.
*
truth is digi profile their customers. that why some got ND5, some ND3 some no offer at all.

Huh... Does this works? I'm referring whether can revoke the access of users that connecting to the 4G router for subscribing to third party content. For instance, anyone connecting to the 4G router can simply subscribe to iflix and charged to the Digi account without the account owner's consent (no SMS TAC or OTP) despite access to SMS in router already locked with password. Unlike fixed line broadband where the users cannot simply make chargeable usage to the account. Just imagine u are using Starbucks' free WiFi and u purchase or subscribe some services but the charges billed to the owner that providing the WiFi.
*
Well that one anyone connecting to the 4G router can simply subscribe to iflix and charged to the Digi account is digi bug or some said feature smile.gif The reason is mydigi web acc / mydigi app connected with digi line dont need any login/pass . Anyone connected wifi/lan can playing with mydigi setting subscribe here and there.

I think digi internet design for single user/family. Digi dont want people sharing digi mobile internet with unknown stranger.

Your solution is route digi connection to proxy server or VPN. The one that not leaking your real digi ip address. Anyone connect to mydigi will ask to login with connect. Celcom/unifi mobile acc need sperate login /password. Guest canot play play like digi one.

I try to insert Digi Prepaid sim inside but it doesn't detect any signal. But when I insert Maxis sim it gave only 3G signal. Is it this device is lock only for TMGo Sim?

Hi bro, I don't quite understand with this LTE Band thing. What does it mean by my place doesn't have digi Band 8? My area do have 4g Digi Coverage upon checkup with my HP.
*
B593s-516 not support LTE band 3.
Band 7 and 8 not every tower have or tower far away signal not detect by modem.
Under Digi Coverage map select 'indoor' that probally digi tower location.

Hi Alex, thanks for recommending MTK Engineering to force 4G :-)
However after reading its review, I am concern that the app will wipe out my IMEI number thus putting this on hold first.
*
me no problem with pixi 4 and zte a520
using Super MTK engineering 1.2 from Princewell inc
totally free no ads

The best thing with MTK is can select lock 4G sim 1 or 2 slot. Snapdragon lock 4G sim 1 only. at least for my other phone.

You can disable Voicemail yourself using USSD menu *128#. People calling you will very happy.

QUOTE(Xaser_3 @ Jun 26 2018, 10:42 AM)
That's affirmative. Calls to voicemail are not included in the free calls. So are 1-300 and 1-800 numbers.
