should be..guess depend on the staff alsol.. mine one whenever ask for coverage, will ask if my area included in the planning map.. they will show you something like google map, but with TM unifi cable/coverage planning layer on top of it. Like my area they said will deploy in Q4 this year, well fingers crossed..tho not sure wanted to subscribe or not since digi 4g+ at my area is damn good already laugh.gif ..i

If you area doesn't included in the planning area..guess... can just go for infinite 150 je la

That is due to congestion in your area due to user heavy usage. Not sure if DiGi throttles during peak hours but try using other means to stream besides browser.
*
If i use my phone(note 8) to stream everything is fine n is in HD. i understand is becoz of the chipset of note 8 mayb get a better speed. while using the browser to watch, i think mayb it is more to the problem of astro hmm.gif

I heard this is the bug from Astro Go itself, where browser works awfully but its app will work well.

I'm yet to testify because my laptop at home is an old laptop and may overwork for Astro Go, I just use app on my Android box and works wonderfully.
*
yup i think so. my fren also facing same issue. terrible in browser but great in apps.
i tried to use side sync to mirror to my pc, guess what. astro go denied access. vmad.gif can only listen audio but not video ranting.gif

Sorry, it turns up to be a software in PC not an app on iPad. I may not be able to locate it anymore because I formatted my laptop to install a new SSD. I will try to recall if I can. I remember it was a Chinese company software I found from Google.
*
Thx!btw i tried alot of apps like vysor, mirrorgo & etc. all unable to watch astro go. i guess they block it

2. Wifi using note8 (mobile data off) - up 38mbps down 26mbps
3. using DATA (digi postpaid)wifi off - 80mbps down 15mbps

The modem in the D-Link is only rated up to single cell Cat3 LTE 150Mbps.

The modem in your Note 8 is a modern multi cell aggregation Gigabit LTE modem.

You need a better modem.
*
Damn vmad.gif notworthy.gif
thanks for the info bro.

One more thing. why i using note 8 to connect to wifi via dlink the speed is higher compare to LAN connection to PC?
i mean the source r from the same modem rite. hmm.gif

Depending on your budget, get the Huawei B618-65d modem from TM via their Unifi Mobile promo but utilise the modem with your Digi Infinite 150. It truly is the king of LTE modems and you will notice and feel a bump in speed and performance.
*
I oso want B618. but budget abit tight.can pay by card?or cash only?

my infinite is 150
which mean i suppose to get proper LTE speed. not 3 or 5 Mbps
*
Totally Agree!!. i m experiencing 1mbps -5mbps btw 7pm-1am daily. then after 1am, the speed will boost up to 20-40mpbs. if i buy b618 with able to lock band, will it help?

dont expect your speed will boost to 50Mbps
but you will see the improvement  (not major)

the question now is it worth to spend 500 on the modem and to add like 5-10Mbps to current speed
only u will know the answer

unfortunately for me, celcom wireless is worst than digi at my area even with b618
*
Thats the dilemma i having. it is pointless to get b618 if the traffic is congested during 7pm-1am daily/mayb digi set limit.
no idea can do wat to improve the speed confused.gif

do you really need the "unlimited data"
if no then can try Celcom wireless, or Maxis wireless

my usage is average 100-200GB/month no p2p. only streaming youtube/viu/iflix and browsing

the only option for me is to go back to 8Mbps streamyx. sucks to max
*
I m currently using around 180gb for whole family (4pax). My dad using celcom. will speed test on it when he back from trip. If i rmbr, celcom not rili good in my area but had to double check to confirm.

some user does get usable internet on congested area with b618.

what modem u are using now, if u are in 4G+ area,

are all the channel also slow? b3, b7 or b8? this 3 also bad speed? unable to lock specific band/auto by telco not really a good choice of modem.
cons are your indoor signal reception strong? and make sure u have rooted your device, for band selection option.
*
I m in 4G+ area. i m using dlink dwr-921.
I tried speedtest using my note 8 usually speed is double up from my modem sweat.gif
7pm-1am note 8 get around 3-8mpbs compare to modem 1-5mpbs but both speed rili goes up n down. i check thru my phone, i m connected to digi band 7 n -90 dbm
unable to try other channel with this modem.
This model can root for band selection?

dlink modem unable to lock band. and it's a 4G modem.

hp can select band if u rooted it. note 8 should be running 4G+? 4G+ speed good?  90dbm consider indoor signal good.

if not congested area speed b3>b7>b8.
*
ya tats y considering b618 but worry it might not improve alot for around rm600
note 8 4g+ but i din root so still is b7. speed usually 2times better compare to modem.
but yest u download fallout4 using steam(55GB) highest speed 10.2mpbs shocking.gif n it finish around 5hours like that.
confusing leh sweat.gif

b618 only RM5xx, u can resell <RM600 within an hour sure got ppl will buy it if resell at original value.

that a cons that unable to lock specific band.

my self using it on mobile phone at outside also not good speed. always getting band 8 or b7 only... hardly auto signed at b3.  laugh.gif
*
u mean b618 cant lock band?
