That is due to congestion in your area due to user heavy usage. Not sure if DiGi throttles during peak hours but try using other means to stream besides browser.

You tried using Astro Go app to watch?

I heard this is the bug from Astro Go itself, where browser works awfully but its app will work well.

I'm yet to testify because my laptop at home is an old laptop and may overwork for Astro Go, I just use app on my Android box and works wonderfully.

I use an app from iPad before to mirror to my laptop before and somehow it is working... Yes, Astro Go.

Sorry, it turns up to be a software in PC not an app on iPad. I may not be able to locate it anymore because I formatted my laptop to install a new SSD. I will try to recall if I can. I remember it was a Chinese company software I found from Google.

which mean i suppose to get proper LTE speed. not 3 or 5 Mbps

dont expect your speed will boost to 50Mbps
but you will see the improvement  (not major)

the question now is it worth to spend 500 on the modem and to add like 5-10Mbps to current speed

unfortunately for me, celcom wireless is worst than digi at my area even with b618

do you really need the "unlimited data"
if no then can try Celcom wireless, or Maxis wireless

my usage is average 100-200GB/month no p2p. only streaming youtube/viu/iflix and browsing

the only option for me is to go back to 8Mbps streamyx. sucks to max

some user does get usable internet on congested area with b618.

what modem u are using now, if u are in 4G+ area,

are all the channel also slow? b3, b7 or b8? this 3 also bad speed? unable to lock specific band/auto by telco not really a good choice of modem.
cons are your indoor signal reception strong? and make sure u have rooted your device, for band selection option.

dlink modem unable to lock band. and it's a 4G modem.

hp can select band if u rooted it. note 8 should be running 4G+? 4G+ speed good?  90dbm consider indoor signal good.

if not congested area speed b3>b7>b8.

b618 only RM5xx, u can resell <RM600 within an hour sure got ppl will buy it if resell at original value.
