Because your home have strong signal with full 4 bars...

If we compare with sound waves. The first people will hear loud out(99% max speed).
And, 3 & 2 bars only hear slowly because the speed has drop because the first person already fully utilized the network bandwidth & distance to sound bars a.k.a telco tower.

Example: first person is download video.
Second person(3 bars line) & third person(2 bars line) got speed average 20-30Mbps.
After first person download done. Speed will be normal up to 50Mbps all the time.

Me say like this because my kampung got band 3 celcom 4g.
Me back from kampung during not hari raya day. No congestion. Speed maintain up to 20Mbps with Band 3.

If me balik kampung during hari raya or holiday. Speed average is 5-8Mbps only. So sad...

P/S: my kampung house got 2 bars Celcom 4G LTE. Speed during not holidays day always maintain 10Mbps-20Mbps. But, when during holidays. Speed drop to 5Mbps. Even worst, 1Mbps only....

LTE Cat4 is not 4G+ modem.
Only can achieve max speed up to 150Mbps with Cat4 device.
Of course, the higher category. Better coverage & speed you get. Got forumer here show Samsung Galaxy S7 can easily get better reception & faster speed because that device use LTE Cat9 modem.

Digi Band 3 got 15MHz download bandwidth.
That why can achieve 110mbps(max speed).

Not like other telco that only have 10MHz(75mbps) download bandwidth on Band 3 spectrum..

It not about the speed.
It about how satisfied you with the service provide at home.

Major taman home easily get congest because too many people there. But, i think Malaysia internet infrastructure will upgrade every year. Right now 10mbps already more than enough.

I know we cannot hope much. But, if other telco also offer the same things like Digi did. The congestion issue will be lower if some people cannot tahan with slower speed & change to(e.g: like maxis, u mobile & celcom unlimited plan)

But,mobile is not like fixed line internet.

Only have one tower connected & need to share for almost 100-500 device each. Cannot imagine how many user hogging the network. If only Digi can get their own fibre plan also like Maxis Fibre & Celcom Fibre(that use TM UniFi infra anyway)...

Don't need to think that your area maybe will get 4G also. Because this mobile internet is depend on tower. Not like TM that use cable(100% get true speed on your subscription).

Me think la. Many ask about Digi Infinite 150. But, still they don't know on how mobile internet unlimited will work like Unifi. Pity for those waste RM300 for advance payment & just get slow speed connection. Next time must make research with Digi Prepaid plan first. Not rugi banyak dari bayar RM300...
